“My wife and I watched the bears vs packers game. Great atmosphere and fun time watching the game. However, BOTH bathrooms had issues and one urinal overflowed causing a mess. When the game was over and we left, we were blocked in by someone who made up a parking spot in the back of the lot. Multiple people made up spots all over the lot. When I addressed the issue with the front desk and spoke with the manager, they did nothing and said to call the police. It is not up to the customer to manage your property. I thought it was a joke of a response when a concern was raised.“

“This is the cleanest, most up-to-date, overall best staffed, & 8.5 out of 10 fastest serviced McDonalds I have ever been to. The only reason I gave it 8.5 out of 10 is because the prices can be a bit above average. But it balances it out with a good service, clean store, and 24-hour location. It's like the old saying goes you get what you pay for. In 30+ years of traveling for family, work, vacation, etc...Ive visited in excess of 4 dozen [~50] locations & this McDonalds is in my top 3 of all fast food locations. A friend and I have always joked back and forth because he's not big on fast food he calls McDonald's - McShitty. If I don't stand up for any other fast food chains I always have to give him a hard time when he says that and defend this McDonald's.“

“We dined at Topaz in August 2024 and had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. We were seated in a comfortable booth. A special mention goes to our server, Sasa, who was incredibly attentive and provided great suggestions. He even surprised us with complimentary limoncellos, which were absolutely delicious. For appetizers, we had the grilled octopus and hummus—both prepared to perfection and bursting with flavor. For the main course, we chose the Dover sole and Amish chicken. These dishes were exceptional and stood out as some of the best we've ever had. The potatoes served with the sole were also a delightful surprise. Portions were generous, and the prices were quite reasonable considering the quality and quantity of the food. We highly recommend Topaz and will definitely be returning!“

Starting from the first day that we went to see The Elm we were treated with the upmost respect and professionalism. We had our ceremony in the Kensington room, and our reception in the Madison room. The atmosphere and vibe of both rooms was everything that we could hope for. The staff was incredible, the food/drinks were AMAZING, and our guests had nothing but positive feedback. “After a week of travel for this Mom, the last thing I wanted to do was to make dinner. This isn't the first time we've been to Glen Prairie and I knew it was just the place I wanted to go. The atmosphere is warm, but quiet. Perfect for a good family catchup. The food is comforting without being too heavy and the wine, beer and cocktail selection is the perfect pairing. We've had the pleasure of being served by Anna a few times now and she does a great job. She is attentive and watchful, without being overbearing which is a difficult skill to master for a lot of servers. Aside from that, I love that it is a safe place for folks with food allergies and I feel very well taken care of in respect to that issue. I can tell that everyone from the hosts to the servers to the bartenders to the kitchen staff are very well trained in creating a safe and welcoming experience for each guest. Glen Prairie is quickly becoming one of our go to family favorite restaurants and we will definitely be back!“

I remember going here as a little girl with my grandma, my parents, and now as an adult, and it’s never diminished in quality or decreased in quaint coziness. “Fantastic elevated food in a contemporary sunlit space with a water view. Well worth the drive for us. I started with the butternut squash and apple soup and a arugula salad with baked goat cheese, and my husband chose the creamy cauliflower soup and mixed green salad with currants and blueberries. The soups were both rich and flavorful. The salads were delayed in coming (perhaps because they had run out of arugula as my salad contained another leaf lettuce) but both salads were very good. The bread on the table was baked in house, also very good. We both had the hangar steak with whipped potatoes and sauteed spinach. Excelkent! We weren't asked how we wanted the steaks done but they arrived as we prefer them, medium with a warm pink center, with a charred crust and a slightly smoky flavor as if wood grilled. Perfect! A brownie sundae completed our meal. We will definitely be back.“

Delicious food, Miguel was very welcoming and on several occasions asked if he could help us out with the menu. There menu has a great selection.
