“Very professional and the food is amazing“

“We stopped here on a whim while we waited for a tire repair at the local Firestone. Super friendly staff. Lots of customers coming in to place orders. My husband daughter ordered fries chicken and chicken tenders with fries and they did warn us it would take twenty mins because they cook them fresh to order. They were the crispiest, tastiest, flakiest pieces of chicken. The fries were awesome too. I had a single chicken taco and it was fresh, flavorful and delicious! We also ordered some bubble tea blended drinks that were good. I'm glad we stopped here.“

“The restaurant is nice and big. It is clean! The waitstaff is great, friendly and efficient . The food is very very good and you know it's a great place to go when there is a wait line, sometimes out the door. You have the option to eat outside in good weather. My husband and I always try to get the cozy two seater table in the little nook by the window. The food is very tasty and plenty of flowing coffee. Due to illness we are not able to come out much, but I sure miss this place. Lots of wonderful Saturday morning breakfast memories. Wishing you great continued success.“

“The food here is FANTASTIC. We ordered the stuffed banana peppers, coconut shrimp, salmon that’s on corn tamale cake (oh my goodness), seafood linguine, and lobster mac n cheese. “After a week of travel for this Mom, the last thing I wanted to do was to make dinner. This isn't the first time we've been to Glen Prairie and I knew it was just the place I wanted to go. The atmosphere is warm, but quiet. Perfect for a good family catchup. The food is comforting without being too heavy and the wine, beer and cocktail selection is the perfect pairing. We've had the pleasure of being served by Anna a few times now and she does a great job. She is attentive and watchful, without being overbearing which is a difficult skill to master for a lot of servers. Aside from that, I love that it is a safe place for folks with food allergies and I feel very well taken care of in respect to that issue. I can tell that everyone from the hosts to the servers to the bartenders to the kitchen staff are very well trained in creating a safe and welcoming experience for each guest. Glen Prairie is quickly becoming one of our go to family favorite restaurants and we will definitely be back!“

“Really nice place for real good food. My family and I stopped in after a trip into town for an escape room. We had the foghorn chicken sandwich, burger, mashed pot and gravy, tenders, nuggets, and fries. The burger and mashed we're recommended by staff and were terrific.

“The Arvin Place, a hidden gem for authentic Mongolian food!
Stopped by The Arvin Place and was genuinely impressed. Ordered the khuushuur (fried meat pies) and a traditional meat platter with boiled beef, potatoes, carrots, and a delicate dough wrap. Portions are generous, the meat is tender and flavorful, and the khuushuur came out golden with a thin, crispy shell, exactly how it should be. The broth on the side was a nice touch.
The space is clean and welcoming, with photos of the Mongolian steppe on the walls that set the mood. Friendly service, fair prices, and a rare chance to try real Mongolian cuisine in the Chicago area. Highly recommend, and I’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​“
