“The food here is absolutely delicious! I was highly impressed with the quality and taste. When you go to a bar, you are expecting "bar food." “The food, atmosphere, and service were all exceptional! Everything, down to the drink names, perfectly complemented the ambiance. This is an absolutely beautiful place to enjoy dinner and great food. The shawarma rolls, pork chops, and Moroccan tagine were all outstanding. If you enjoy sweet and refreshing cocktails, I highly recommend the 'Gotta Have Faith.' Overall, I would definitely return to try more dishes and highly recommend visiting this unique spot. It’s truly a must-visit!“

The service was fantastic; The staff were attentive and knowledgeable, making great recommendations and ensuring we had everything we needed throughout the meal.

“Wow. WOW! Schnitzel sandwich 10/10, Old Fashioned 10/10, Mushroom soup - outstanding, Banana Pie 300/10. Complete surprise. Staff is excellent. Amazing actually. Magnus is a fantastic server and went out of his way to make everything great. The owner checked in and everything was top notch. Do yourself a favor and visit Babcock’s Grove House soon.“

“On August 16, 2024 my dear friend Eberta Wright celebrated her 103 birthday. We celebrated it at The Lazy Dog Restaurant in the Highlands were we used to go for lunch every Sunday after church. Our waiter was always Carlos. One Sunday he told me to let him know when she was to celebrate her next birthday because he wanted to do something special for her. I called him and told him it was here so he talked to his manager and WOW!!!!! Kyla, Alexa, Andrea and Carlos put together a spectacular birthday celebration. Mrs. Wright and I both were so surprised and delighted with what they did. The decorations, the gorgeous flowers the cupcakes that Kyla made and decorated to spell out her birth year. Everything was just wonderful. Carlos came in on his day off and got to have lunch with us. He is a very special young man. In fact everyone there is very special. The Lazy Dog will always be my number one restaurant not just because of the good food but because they are a group of very special people.“

“We have visited Cooper Hawks in Morton Grove several times, sometimes for drinks and appetizers and sometimes for dinner and drinks, we have never had a bad experience. Great food and drinks, but we have been able to experience the same waitress Lori P. She is the best great personality food and drinks fast…… she is totally awesome. “We had a large group just before lunchtime on a Saturday, and they were great about squeezing us in. Our server D was amazing, truly, and the other staff were helpful and attentive, too. The food was delicious, hot, fast, priced affordably. They have a large menu. We had some special diets in our group and there were enough options for them to find what they needed. I definitely would return and would recommend it to friends.“

“We could be sitting outside enjoying the beautiful weather like we did today or watching the grandsons ice skate on the outside rink in the winter, the Fox and Turtle never disappoints. The only thing better than the food is,the service, which are both top notch. If you never have been here you should definitely give it a try . You will not be disappointed!“

“This place is amazing. I got the Mexican omelette and it was everything I hoped it would be. The wait staff is outstanding and treat you how you want to be treated. They were very fast and the Mimosas are a huge draw. It’s worth every penny I don’t miss one cent of it. It’s always a good feeling when you don’t leave a restaurant disappointed with the taste. I’ll be coming here at least once a week from now on!“

“Great little diner, huge portions, and the food was so good. We had the hash plates, biscuits and gravy, their special french toast, pancakes, and it was all delicious. We went Saturday morning and it was definitely the old folks time but it wasn't too busy and the food came out quickly. If I'm ever back in Chicago, I will be back.“

“Went for breakfast. Had their Saturday breakfast special. Came with eggs, hash browns, sausage patties, toast and surprisingly a taco. Everything was delicious and the tacos were to die for. The employees were great and he even brought more tacos for the table!“
