Food was excellent, as expected, from sandwiches and pizza to outstanding fish entrees, menu specials, and pastas. Service was very attentive and kind. No extra fees or surprises whatsoever.

“Service was awful! Our server, Joselyn, slammed down the glasses of water 5 minutes after we were seated, took our order and never saw her again until she slammed the bill down at our table. We saw her for a total of 3 minutes in the 45 minutes we were there. Unfortunately for Joselyn, her tip reflected her poor service. I tip 20-25% for good service, she lost out and made the restaurant less desirable to return. However, the burger was juicy and delicious, the macaroni and cheese was outstanding!“

“Such a great pub venue. Our server, Tyler, went out of his way to welcome us. The menu is extensive. The beer list has both rotating taps and craft beer options. They offer cocktails, spirits and wine as well as N/A options. The food is outstanding. I had the ginormous wings. Others ordered mini burger sliders and Etouffe. Both liked there dishes. This is a place we will go back to. We watched the World Cup soccer game without feeling bombarded by TVs.“

My son has special needs and they were so great with him. At the end of the dinner when they could see I was struggling a bit with my son, one server came to me and said, “don’t worry mama, we got you.” So kind. “Walrus Room is a solid five star restaurant. Table service is fantastic. Our server knew the menu inside and out, provided useful recommendations and was very attentive without being pesty. Starting with the appetizers four of us had Shrimp DeJohgne, the Burrata, Curds and Chorizo Mussels. All very very good. From their extensive lists the ladies had wine and I had bourbon. For dinner we ordered the walleye on rice, Amish roast chicken and the prime steak frites. All really good although maybe the entrees were a bit salty. We ordered too much food and drink so the nearly five hundred dollar bill was our fault. Great service, fantastic atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back.“

“The staff have been really rude to me ever since I pointed out that my tab was wrong and I was overcharged. I wasn't upset about the double charges, I just wanted them corrected. I've barely been waited on since then it seems. I tried to step in a help once when a patron had been over served. It wasn't welcomed at all. I was given the same look as I get when I walk up to the bar to get a drink. Too bad, it's really close to home to me. I haven't been in over a year and have no plans on returning.“

“Had the waygu burger and fries and the burger was great!! The fries were a fresh steak fry that seemed to be made on the spot. Not my style and a little bit oily for my tastes. Bar area was big with lots of tvs for sports. We didn't go to the dining room, so can not comment on that at this time, but will be back!“

“I have been living in Geneva for a couple years now and I had always seen Buttermilk and wanted to try it. I finally had the chance and it lived up to it's anticipation. I love pancakes and the pancakes were light and fluffy and absolutely delicious. The service was pretty good and the atmosphere gave a pretty nice vibe. I definitely recommend. I also like that the food is still good as leftovers.“
