“We visited The Graceful Ordinary in downtown St. Charles, IL, on a warm late September day. We had a wonderful experience at Graceful Ordinary, one that's hard to match outside of Chicago. From its comfortable yet elegant design to the unique menu, every detail was carefully considered. The food was delicious and thoughtfully presented, and the service was excellent. We were fortunate to visit on a very warm day towards the end of September. We sat on the fully screened-in veranda and enjoyed the scenery in comfort. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a unique, elevated dining experience; no matter where you're traveling from, it's worth the trip.“

“I had the mushroom, Swiss Cheese, single butterburger, and onion rings and didn't need to any condiments. It was delicious!!!“

“The breakfast was not bad at all. Really good portions. Our food was always hot and freshly cooked. We tried the French toast, breakfast burrito and eggs cooked your way. Fruit and coffee (starbucks) pretty basic. Plenty space to eat and clean tables available.“

“The restaurant was awesome!! My family and I were in town for a funeral and were recommended by our Aunt to eat here and we absolutely loved it! The food was phenomenal!! We are from South Dakota and wish we had a colonial Cafe where we live!! Dave Le was amazing and definitely was patient and knew his stuff!! Well done young man!! Great food fantastic service! “My wife and I had lunch today at The Office, and it was fantastic. We sat outside, and the whole outdoor setup was perfect. The food was excellent, and the service truly made the whole experience unforgettable. Peyton was our server, and he could not have been more friendly, attentive, and welcoming. He went above and beyond, and his outstanding service alone will bring us back. Huge shoutout to Peyton for making our visit so special.“

“Couldn’t have picked a better day or place to spend the afternoon. I sat out on the patio with the sun out and blue skies, and the entire experience was excellent from start to finish.

Kam was my server and absolutely deserves some recognition. He was balancing the bar along with the outside tables, but you would never have known how much he had going on. He was attentive, personable, easy to talk to, and made the experience feel genuinely welcoming rather than rushed.

I asked for recommendations on both food and beer, and he nailed them. I went with the spicy chicken sandwich, which came out perfectly and was absolutely delicious. Kam also took the time to suggest several different beers based on what I was looking for. I enjoyed everything I tried and ultimately found myself really liking their light beer option.

What stood out most was the overall hospitality. Great food and beer will get you through the door, but having someone like Kam taking care of you is what makes you want to come back. We had some great conversation throughout my visit, and he was friendly and engaging while still keeping up with everyone else he was serving.

“We order here Every SINGLE Thursday for BOGO day! We always get amazing service, the food is always HOT & FRESH. They greet us with a smile and have Always fixed anything that was missed! As we are all Human and make mistakes!

“Great place to watch NFL football. 30+ TV’s to watch ALL the games, not just those on network channels.“

“I had a very yummy patty melt along with some hand cut fries. My only complaint was that the fries were not hot, they were warm, but just barely.“

“I don’t usually give all 5 stars but our waitress Alondra was incredible! She greeted us very warmly. She made sure our drinks were filled and topped off. She was super patient with us because we don’t get out often so we took longer to look over the menus. She also checked in us not once but twice to make sure our food was cooked properly and that we were happy with our meals. I tipped her around 25%-30% because she deserved it! To top it all off she asked if we wanted a water to go and said goodbye warmly with a smile. Felt like I was visiting a family member or a really good friend. We definitely left full, and with happy smiles on our face!

To the cooks: you made our meals taste and feel like a home cooked meal on a sunny Sunday morning! Thank you for your incredible skills and cooking.“

“So I ate here yesterday the food was great exactly what you paid for is but you get. The only thing that I had a problem with was the fact that they did not honor the giant poster that says 6.95 for gyro on Tuesdays. They charged me full price. So just pay attention when you go“
