“We visited The Graceful Ordinary in downtown St. Charles, IL, on a warm late September day. We had a wonderful experience at Graceful Ordinary, one that's hard to match outside of Chicago. From its comfortable yet elegant design to the unique menu, every detail was carefully considered. The food was delicious and thoughtfully presented, and the service was excellent. We were fortunate to visit on a very warm day towards the end of September. We sat on the fully screened-in veranda and enjoyed the scenery in comfort. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a unique, elevated dining experience; no matter where you're traveling from, it's worth the trip.“

“The breakfast was not bad at all. Really good portions. Our food was always hot and freshly cooked. We tried the French toast, breakfast burrito and eggs cooked your way. Fruit and coffee (starbucks) pretty basic. Plenty space to eat and clean tables available.“

“The restaurant was awesome!! My family and I were in town for a funeral and were recommended by our Aunt to eat here and we absolutely loved it! The food was phenomenal!! We are from South Dakota and wish we had a colonial Cafe where we live!! Dave Le was amazing and definitely was patient and knew his stuff!! Well done young man!! Great food fantastic service! Definitely will come back if we ever get back to St Charles again!!“

From the second we walked in with our reservation and were seated at a fantastic high chair table, the whole experience was seamless. The atmosphere has such an energetic, welcoming vibe—the perfect backdrop for hanging out and catching up with friends.
​The food was flat-out amazing. I ordered the Alter Burger with a few specific alterations, and the kitchen nailed every single detail; it came out cooked and customized to absolute perfection.

“Well… I guess we live here now. 😂❤ We went to The Office and apparently accidentally became new regulars and we’re absolutely okay with that. The vibe is fun, the people are great, and the wood-fired pizza?! 🤌🔥 SO GOOD. Crispy, cheesy perfection and already reason enough to keep coming back, especially when Payton is on pizza station!

It’s one of those places where you walk in for “a drink and maybe some food” and suddenly you’ve found your new neighborhood spot. 😂 Great atmosphere, delicious pizza, good drinks, and even better vibes. The outside bar is our favorite spot to be. Liza, payton & dessi are absolute machines! Glass always full over here! The Office officially has us clocking in voluntarily. 🍕🍻❤“

“Everything on the menu is awesome! we always get the pizza and wings as an appetizer. make sure you go to the upstairs bar and ask for Kaitlyn she's the best!“

“I had a very yummy patty melt along with some hand cut fries. My only complaint was that the fries were not hot, they were warm, but just barely.“

“I don’t usually give all 5 stars but our waitress Alondra was incredible! She greeted us very warmly. She made sure our drinks were filled and topped off. She was super patient with us because we don’t get out often so we took longer to look over the menus. She also checked in us not once but twice to make sure our food was cooked properly and that we were happy with our meals. I tipped her around 25%-30% because she deserved it! To top it all off she asked if we wanted a water to go and said goodbye warmly with a smile. Felt like I was visiting a family member or a really good friend. We definitely left full, and with happy smiles on our face!

“Damn good food, and good quantity. We called in a big order to-go, thus no atmosphere rating. It was filled accurately and spot-on time. The guys were great and super-engaging when they found out one of our party had never had gyros before! Loved that we came here!“
