“Next level vegan breakfast! Usually you have to go into Chicago for the array of choices Lucky Penny Diner offers. I had a vegan Hawaiian omelet with vegan chorizo and Just Egg, a mung bean based egg substitute that is nearly indistinguishable from the real thing. My dish came with two sides: a choice of fruit or hash browns and french toast or pancakes. I opted for hash browns and pancakes which were both great. My husband got a Just Egg scramble with vegan sausage and french toast. Lucky Penny hit it out of the park on everything: food, service, even coffee refills. Another thing -- their portion sizes are generous and nobody leaves hungry. I had to actually take home half of my omelet and I ate PLENTY. They are tucked into the corner of a strip mall next to a smoke/vape shop. Whether you're vegan, gluten free, or just a regular person who eats everything, don't miss this place.“

“We were there for their pizza. It was very tasty with the right amount of pizza sauce, cheese and hot on arrival. I would recommend Burnt Side to all. On top of it, the late afternoon hours are perfect for dinner or just a pizza. Also, you can't beat the 25% off until June 29th. They're open until 8:30 Wednesday to Saturday.“

“Went for a birthday brunch with family and had a stellar experience. The owners and our server were all super attentive and friendly. Our food was delicious. I had the country fried steak with sausage gravy, biscuit, scrambled eggs and hash browns. It was so good, I hardly paid attention to what anyone else ordered. But everyone was extremely happy with what they got. We were surprised with a lovely birthday cake after we finished our meal. The owners and our server sang happy birthday and treated each of us to a slice. We were wowed! I live in Naperville and will definitely make this place a destination in the future.“

“When I look for a while in the wall, this is the kind of place I picture. The booths are from an old Dairy Queen and there are Christmas decorations on the wall. The plane was clean but it felt like a 1980 DQ with a new sign.I was very skeptical when walking in and there was nobody dining in. True this was an early lunch but they serve breakfast ?The menu is 5x7 framed pics of the dishes. I was not having a good feeling at that point. But ... Trust the reviews I tell myself ? I ordered the Philly and water and my wife had fish tacos. The water was in bottles, warm. I asked for ice and they looked at me like they didn't know how to fill that request. So far, not too happy with my choice.And then came the food. OMG The Philly was amazing. It's not your traditional Philly, it tasted like skirt steak with shredded cheese melted on top. The steak was cooked perfectly. My wife's fish chicken tacos were amazing too. Now I'm happy that we stuck it out ? I think I can get past some of the negatives that I felt at the beginning because it's worth it for the food.Fyi they will charge you for using a credit card and there is no fountain machine for pop.I'm not in the area much but will probably try it again when I am.“

“We usually order breakfast here, but on this last visit I tried the chicken salad croissant with French fries. Maybe it was because I was so hungry that day, but the fries were some of the best I've eaten. They were hot, fresh, not greasy, and had the right crispness. The chicken salad had cranberries, celery, and nuts and was crunchy and sweet.“
