“we had a wonderful dinner last night! my husband is British and my actor sons were in town from LA filming a movie in Downers Grove, so we decided to give Balmoral a try. And what a wonderful family dinner we had. The menu not only describes the food, there were historical stories added which made it even more charming. From the bone china, the murals and of course the food-- it was perfect. we will be back!“

“What an outstanding Restaurant! I had my daughter's bridal shower at Mio Modo and Michael, the Manager, took care of every detail that I was looking for. The food was excellent, from the appetizer-Calamari to the main meal-Pollo al Limone and Vodka Pasta, to the dessert Tiramisu!! So delicious!! The staff was very attentive and professional. We will definitely be visiting Mio Modo again. Thank you for a delightful experience!“
“Riverlands just keeps getting better every time I visit! The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. They’re always happy to help you find the perfect beer or seltzer, whether you know exactly what you want or just want to try something new.
The selection is fantastic, with a great variety of beers and seltzers that truly offer something for everyone. Sours are my absolute favorite. Plus, I'm always excited for their rotating Tiki Time drinks during the summer!
The food trucks are always delicious and add a fun, fresh element when onsite.
The outdoor (and pet-friendly) patio is yet another highlight. It’s clear they continue to invest in making the space even better each year. It’s such a great spot to relax, hang out with friends, and enjoy a drink (or two).
Riverlands is easily my favorite local spot. Highly recommend giving this place a try and hopefully it'll become your new favorite, too!“

“My husband and I just enjoyed an amazing breakfast at Kava Diem! We had the burrito, bacon, egg and yum sandwich and a Brown Butter Cafe coming soon donut - everything was delicious! The staff was so friendly and we will definitely be back. Highly recommend!“

“First time trying the place tonight and will definitely be back!! Everything was so fresh and it all tasted great. It was a little bit on the pricier side but the quality of the food was worth it. Even with how busy the guys were behind the counter, they remained super friendly and gave us free chips for our first time. Thank you for a great meal!“
“We recently had an event at Eden Events in St. Charles and had a wonderful experience. The venue is beautiful, clean, and very well organized. The staff was easy to work with and made sure everything went smoothly from start to finish.
What I appreciated most was the attention to detail and how welcoming everyone was. Our guests had a great time, and we received many compliments about the venue. I would definitely recommend Eden Events to anyone looking for a great place to host a special event.“

“Nuovo Italia has always been a restaurant we’ve really enjoyed, and we’ve had a lot of great experiences here over the years. We recently came back with a couple of our friends and, while we still had a good experience overall, it felt a little different from what we’ve been used to.
The food was still very good, and the restaurant itself has the same great look and feel. The main thing we noticed was that the service and overall atmosphere didn’t seem quite as attentive or welcoming as we remembered from previous visits.
We know the restaurant has recently changed ownership, so hopefully this was just an off night or part of a transition period. We’ve always enjoyed coming here and hope the overall experience gets back to what we’ve come to expect.
Overall, the food is still great and Nuovo Italia is absolutely a place we’d recommend. Our most recent experience was probably around a 7/10, but still a solid four stars. We’ll definitely be back!“

“We love CH have eaten there so many times. We always order the Prime Rib sandwiches. This is the first time 7/23/25 the Prime Rib meat was tough? “Our all time favorite coffee shop in St. Charles! The coffee & food is all delicious. Any time we visit the area we make sure to stop by (usually multiple times!). Our favorites are the iced decaf caramel latte, the double chocolate muffin, and egg & cheese croissant. Their special of the day - a raspberry white chocolate latte - was also delicious! Highly recommend!“

“Rosati’s in St. Charles nails it on every level. The space is beautiful, warm, inviting, and a perfect place to hang out with friends or family. It’s the kind of restaurant that feels comfortable but still special. The food is consistently fantastic. From the pizza to the rest of the menu, everything is full of flavor and clearly made with care. You’re not just getting good pizza, you’re getting a great overall dining experience. And Tuesday Trivia Night is such a fun touch. Great energy, lots of laughs, and the perfect excuse to grab dinner and make a night out of it. Highly recommend checking this place out if you haven’t already.“

“I don’t usually give all 5 stars but our waitress Alondra was incredible! She greeted us very warmly. She made sure our drinks were filled and topped off. She was super patient with us because we don’t get out often so we took longer to look over the menus. She also checked in us not once but twice to make sure our food was cooked properly and that we were happy with our meals. I tipped her around 25%-30% because she deserved it! To top it all off she asked if we wanted a water to go and said goodbye warmly with a smile. Felt like I was visiting a family member or a really good friend. We definitely left full, and with happy smiles on our face!
To the cooks: you made our meals taste and feel like a home cooked meal on a sunny Sunday morning! Thank you for your incredible skills and cooking.“

“Carlos Carberra was our amazing server! He was so kind, fast and thorough. Our food was hot and delicious, on a night he was super busy.
