“Stumbled upon this place randomly, and are so glad to have done so! The restaurant is cozy and inviting, the staff is so friendly, and of course, the food is spot on. We ordered the potstickers, bao buns, and beef curry and they were all hits!! Will be coming back.“

“After ordering from all six Chinese restaurants that are in South Elgin or bordering on Elgin, I can confidently say this restaurant has the best Chinese food in the area.

The food quality and flavor is not only on par or better than all of the others, but the pricing is the most fair as well.

With respect towards the other Chinese restaurants, I don't see why I would order Chinese food from anyone else while this establishment is around.“

“We had rented the back room to films few scenes for our film and also had pizza for the cast and crew. Tanya who was our waitress and coordinator for the setup in the back room was absolutely amazing. She was super friendly and helpful with everything. “Anyone who disparages this establishment doesn’t know good, take out Italian that you’re looking for. Thin crust is also stellar that I order often. Flaky crust. But their deal on Wednesday for bogo pasta for a buck is HANDS DOWN! the best deal in town. My top two are the stuffed shells and lasagna. Two pics are large stuffed shells. My favorite. One with meat sauce, one with marinara. Even after prices were raised it’s only $14. Could be 4 meals but usually only two for me. $7 a meal? Good luck. Not for this quality. And two 6” halves of French garlic bread in this deal! I’ve seen bay leaves and garlic cloves in the sauce. It’s quality scratch cooking for the best price in town! Well done👏

And for the best sandwich in the area, go with a Ricks beef! Get plenty of napkins and maybe two-tree forks. It’s the fresh tomato that makes it! So good.“

“Great Lou Malnati’s location. The staff are all fantastic and extremely friendly to deal with. This is not a sit down restaurant and I normally order online and my orders are normally always ready by the time I pick. Never had any issues and highly recommend visiting this location for both the deep dish and thin crust pizza.“

“I’m always seeking out new to me places and I’ve heard of this spot from other friends for many years and just recently had the chance to visit. I wish I would’ve visited sooner!

This spot is not much for ambience inside or outside but on the day of my visit they had brisk takeout and the dining room was packed…real quick. I’m sure a lot of folks go here for the Chinese menu items but I was there for the Lao goodies! They did not disappoint!

We had the fried meat balls; a mixed app plate with chicken wings, Lao sausage, and beef jerky; lap beef; and a healthy serving of sticky rice (ok maybe we had 2 to sop up the lap beef).

Flavors were on point. Medium spice had us excited and rolling at the same time as it got spicier throughout the meal for the lap…but it was so good! I can’t wait to go back and try more!

Service was friendly and attentive. Parking was easy since they have their own lot.“
