They have Fish Fry on Fridays but I’ve never had it but I want to. The owners are great and their sexy son, Chad, works some nights and is great eye candy for the ladies. If you want a bartender that serves up honesty along with great drinks, Jimmy is your man. He’s brutally honest so ask him to roast you for a good time. He once referred to a customer as the Vampire of Fun and he was spot on. Tiffany is a ball of energy, whose spirit is infectious. If you’re having a bad day, go during her shifts and she’ll pick you up immediately. Gale is the last bartender I’ve interacted with who works there. He’s a cool calm dude who can tell you some of the most interesting facts of the area. He’s also a caterer and a butcher when not at the bar. Theres someone for everyone here and if you’re in from out of town or just traveling through, have a stop at Hoppes just so you can say you’ve been there.“

“Stopped in last Sunday and they happened to be having free wings and potato wedges if you ordered a Bloody Mary. Bartender, Jasmine, was super friendly and told us about other specials they offer other days. Definitely worth checking out if you are looking for a new place to have a drink at a local Dive Bar.“

“I worked with Plank Road Tap Room to host my wedding ceremony and cocktail hour on September 27, 2025. First off, the process was so easy. I worked closely with Breanne and she handled everything so wonderfully. She was accommodating with our rehearsal time, clear with all communication, incredibly helpful day-of, and a total joy to work with. I am beyond grateful that I felt I was in such good hands the whole time. Also the ceremony space and outdoor trail made for some seriously amazing pictures that I'm still in awe over. I highly recommend PRTR for any event from casual hangouts to your biggest day!
