“Last minute decision to go to Goo Goo Ma for dinner one night. I had a taste for a stone bowl dish, so ordered the DoleSote Bibimbop.

Goo Goo Ma seems to have one person who works there who takes the order, cooks the food, and takes payment, He's very nice and helpful if you have questions about the food.

They seem to do a lot of business but there were only a few people eating there. There was a steady stream of people coming for take out. They do have plenty of tables for people to dine in, though.

They cook to order so after about ten minutes, my dinner was up. You get a very generous portion of food. There are three sides - kimchee, salad, and soup. All were great. But the main course, the DoleSote Bibimbop was delicious. The bowl is large - filled with rice, vegetables, and chicken. It was prepared very well - the stone bowl is very hot so the rice touching the bowl gets crispy, adding to the texture of the meal. In fact, it is sizzling when it's served.

All in all, it was a nice experience and a wonderful meal.“

“Lots of open tables. Tables felt a bit sticky but service was good. Only odd thing was they didn’t like to wrap leftovers as they didn’t have any “small” boxes. Appetizers were pricey. Bowls were big and oversized for the amount of noodles in the dish. Flavors were good and more unique place in the area. Did appreciate that there was a balance of spicy and non spicy options. Also had the option to list allergies. Only bad thing was everything was ordered on the app so no good pictures of the various items.“

“I had a chance to swing in last week and it's a nice, comfortable setting. The food was excellent if you are interested in Austrian/German bites. “Discovered this place when I moved to hoffman estates in 2016 and I've enjoyed their food since then. Never had a problem or issue with their food. Great flavor, especially their Tawwa rice. Not a typical place to sit and eat since it's so small. Best to order take out.“

“Dinner | $20–30 Service is very poor here, especially after they hired a new chef who uses garbage ingredients and does not even use the ingredients that is listed on the food description. We ordered the basil Thai rice with chicken after having a good experience the first time with nice large pieces of white meat chicken. Well sadly the second time instead of using chicken, they put a bunch of mushrooms and there are not supposed to be any mushrooms in there and there was not any chicken. So I called and I spoke with Annie, who was supposed to be the manager. She said that I would have my next mail free. So I called today and ordered basil fried rice with chicken. Instead of getting basil fried rice with chicken I got a small container of brown rice plain and then a container of something that looks like ground beef with a few basil, leafs and onion. It was the most disgusting thing I’ve ever had and it was absolutely not basil fried rice. It looked like they ground up chicken organs, and it tasted even worse. I would avoid this place at all cost because clearly they don’t care about quality and service any longer and when they make a big mistake, they double down and make the mistake again and they don’t really care to make things right.“

“Came here with a few friends and family to play darts. It was 930 pm and we were told we were being too loud- literally cheering that my mom got a bullseye. Because it was apparently their dinner hour… one table was eating. The bartender started swearing at us and the other was so concerned we cheered yet let a dad pay her off to allow a teenager in days ago. Handed us the bill and then called the cops on us. Mind you the cops laughed hearing how they were. Would not recommend a thing. Terrible atmosphere and incompetent rude staff.“
