“I made my first visit to Prime Sushi & Ramen today. It won't be my last. I ordered negihama maki (yellowtail roll) and salmon roll for pickup. My order was ready on time, the portions of fish were high quality and generous, and they got my special request (no wasabi) right. I haven't had the dine-in experience yet, but they occupy the former Amore Mio space, which is lovely. I'm delighted to have another fine restaurant in that space, and I look forward to becoming a regular!“

“Absolutely fantastic! I ordered the Kaiseki Bento with Salmon, and it was a feast! The grilled salmon was perfectly cooked—crispy skin with tender, flaky meat. The bento came with miso soup, fresh salad, delicious gyoza, tempura that was light and crispy, and a few California rolls that rounded out the meal beautifully. Great presentation and flavor. Sushi EN has definitely become my new go-to for Japanese lunch and dinner specials!“

“Bowlful of Korea is such a cute little spot! The restaurant is nicely decorated, clean, and has a really welcoming atmosphere. There’s also plenty of parking, which is always a plus since it’s conveniently located right next to a Jewel-Osco. Only downside is that there is two individual bathrooms which I could foresee being an issue if the place is packed.

The restaurant is self-serve and kiosk-style. You place your order at the kiosk, grab a number, and sit at any available table. They’ll bring your food directly to you, so the process is super easy and convenient. There’s also a designated area where you can grab water and utensils yourself.

One thing I thought was a really nice touch is that they have an additional private room on the side that’s available to rent for events. I could definitely see this being a great option for birthday parties, bridal showers, intimate gatherings, or other small celebrations.

We ordered three things: Chicken Katsu – $14 and two Assorted Sashimi Bowl – $21 each. Everything we tried was delicious and came in generous portions. I especially appreciated how fresh and balanced the bowls felt, with a great variety of vegetables alongside the protein. The meals felt filling without being overly heavy, and there was a nice variety of ingredients in every bowl.“

The atmosphere is a solid 10/10, the interior and design are 10/10, and the food is simply on another level.

I ordered the Snow Crab Salad, and it was an absolute 10/10 — fresh, perfectly balanced, and bursting with flavor. The Sea Bass was just as impressive: beautifully prepared, incredibly flavorful, and cooked to perfection.

Both dishes completely blew me away. Every bite hit every taste bud and delivered layer after layer of flavor. This wasn't just a good meal — it was the kind of food you remember long after you leave.

“Love that they offer so many vegan options here. I come here for specialty itmes that I can't find anywhere else. They have vegan donuts, croissants, cookies, and more. They used to have vegan tamales which were great but I haven't seen them in a while. Good place for a variety of food!“

“This is a smaller establishment so service can be hit or miss. Seating is limited so you sometimes feel like you are right on top of the party next to you. The selection of options though for the all you can eat sushi is extensive. Always have to get an order of the edamame and crab Rangoons!“

“Ordered carry-out from the Vernon Hills location and loved it! Fantastic quality ramen, flavorful broth and still hot after getting it home. Miso Ramen and Taiwan Ramen are fantastic, but beware that single pepper icon, because it’s no joke! (And I say this as someone who grew up eating spicy food 🙂) Delicious, but intense! I would LOVE to see a milder version of the Taiwan Ramen (or at least a way to adjust the heat, like the Spicy Miso), because the flavor was truly amazing and addictive.“

“If you want authentic food an amazing experience then this is your go to. The owners are hardworking and they do everything themselves. When you come here, you will be greeted by the hostess/waitress with a smiling face. A sweet Japanese man will be making the sushi and a lovely woman in the kitchen preparing with love all of the hot dishes. It is places like this that I love to eat, quite the opposite of the corporate chain restaurants who give you minimal while charging the max. This place does the opposite. You get the full value out of your dollar and it is well spent. The freshness of the sushi and the flavor of the chicken yakitori are second to none, because love is an ingredient that is not often found in restaurants anymore. Please do yourself a favor and bring your family to a restaurant that you will feel wholesome while filling you up.“

“We've lived in this area for 20 years now, and this is hands down one of our favorite local establishments. The service is warm, yet efficient, and the food is outstanding. Highly recommend for an evening with a few friends or an intimate one on one dinner.

“This place was awesome! My girlfriend and I celebrated our anniversary here and we loved the experience. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was great. There was a big group next to us and at one point the staff put on a loud birthday song and brought out a cake on a plate and started singing happy birthday. The whole restaurant of strangers erupted into cheers and shouts and laughter for this guy. It was hilarious. Our server Abby was very friendly and always checked in on us. We had mentioned that we were celebrating an anniversary and she came out at the end of our meal with this custom plate in the picture.
