Party sushi Trays - Fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented — every bite was perfection.
When ordering stated I have an egg allergy. I stated this twice on the phone. When I arrived my order had not even been put in. Waited 20 minutes and again stated an egg allergy and it was repeated back to me. I got to my destination opened my food and to my disgust and dismay there was egg. I could not eat due to cross contamination. I called to report and was told the owner would be in contact. I did not recieve any message. Minami Sushi is a favorite sushi place with food that is absolutely delicious. The fish is fresh, and the sushi flavors are good. The spicy garlic shrimp with green beans was amazing. The sashimi is extra thick, and the pork tonkatsu is the best aside from Japan. The pork gyoza is good, and there is a great selection of vegan rolls. The atmosphere is cozy and beautiful, dark and modern, and very romantic. The place is fairly new and modern, with upscale decor. Food is ready quickly, and the staff is kind. Prices are a bit pricey but 100% worth it, with great value on the boat and great lunch specials. Customers say it is the best sushi in all Chicago, with generous portions and consistent quality. Everything is always top-notch, and the service is fantastic.
