We chose Swordfish Sushi in Batavia to celebrate our 10-year anniversary, and it turned into one of the most special dining experiences we’ve ever had.
From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The food was outstanding—fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. Every bite reminded us why Swordfish Sushi is such a gem.
But what truly made the night unforgettable was Joyce, our waitress. She went above and beyond in every possible way. Joyce took our picture, surprised us with dessert, and then completely blew us away by framing our photo for us as a keepsake. That level of thoughtfulness and care is incredibly rare and meant the world to us.
Thank you to Joyce and the entire Swordfish Sushi team for making our anniversary feel celebrated, personal, and truly special. This wasn’t just dinner—it was a memory we’ll treasure forever. We can’t wait to come back!

“We come to Sushi Station Elgion every year after the Christmas holiday. The facility is large enough that we almost never have to wait for seating. The conveyor belt service makes it easy to view the offerings before selecting one...so no disappointments!“

“I went to Wok n Fire for my first time tonight and got to experience it a little differently with it being the first day you are able to dine indoors since COVID. Our waitress, Stacey was absolutely amazing! She gave personal recommendations and even traded out my girlfriends wine that she didn’t like. Great food and delicious!“

“Another great meal at moto imōto. I stopped in to have a drink before dinner with friends and Kaylee was our delightful bartender. She was knowledgeable and very attentive. She’s very friendly and a great fit for the restaurant. When I was seated for dinner Tyler was my server. Excellent service and very knowledgeable of the menu. Kudos to the kitchen staff - my appetizer and meal were not only brought to my table immediately, but tasted wonderful. It was a busy Mother’s Day dinner service, but everything seemed to run very smoothly. As I watched the rest of the staff, everyone seemed friendly and attentive to the diners. Moto imōto is one of my favorite restaurants in town and I will continue to come back again and again.“

“Been here several times with my family. Some of the nicest owners and servers I have ever encountered. Sushi, salad, soup, kids meals are excellent and reasonably priced. Well worth the wait.“

“We go out to eat a lot of Chinese and Japanese food and it was really nice to have a place that was able to have both we ordered the basics with: sushi, noodle dishes and ramen (best dish by far) with that being said everything was just above average and nothing really stood out being fair no specialty dish was ordered - but was in the pricy end
Nothing negative to really say but nothing great ethier Our server did her job well check in on us a fair amount.
If I was in the mood for Asian inspired dishes I would just go to ramen/ sushi spot or a Chinese restaurant“
