we had a wonderful dinner last night! my husband is British and my actor sons were in town from LA filming a movie in Downers Grove, so we decided to give Balmoral a try. And what a wonderful family dinner we had. The menu not only describes the food, there were historical stories added which made it even more charming. From the bone china, the murals and of course the food-- it was perfect. we will be back!
What a fabulous restaurant, we dined here last night... drinks are exquisite, food is divine... We had a salad that was out of this world with Goats Cheese followed by Bangers and Mash for him and Salmon No 1 for me... The rolls and lavender butter were very tasty... the female server was full of personality and smiles, such a sweetie. We highly recommend this great restaurant.
Went to Balmoral restaurant for my birthday dinner last night. My husband and I enjoyed our 5 course meal. We started with mushrooms in a garlic sauce that was served with a crusted bread. The sauce was so tasty. We had mixed greens salads. Pea and Ham soup. The soup was very flavorful. My husband had a beautiful cut porkchop with chosen sides of roasted potatoes and glazed carrots.
