Everything was very good slightly overpriced $75 per person , With tax. Service was very good again slightly overpriced. We have been visiting high tea places for the last year and this is by far the most expensive tea we’ve had enjoyable but expensive.

My experience at the Balmoral Restaurant in St Charles was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was perfect. The food was absolutely fantastic. Each dish was prepared with care and attention to detail, and the flavors were exquisite. The menu offered a wonderful variety, catering to every taste. What truly set the Balmoral apart was their outstanding level of accommodation. They were attentive to our needs and preferences, making us feel valued and special throughout our visit.Furthermore, the atmosphere of the restaurant was inviting and elegant, adding to the overall enjoyment of our evening.Without a doubt, my companion and I have already made plans to return to the Balmoral Restaurant. It's a gem of a dining establishment that deserves every bit of praise it receives. If you're looking for a memorable dining experience in St Charles, look no further than the Balmoral.

Wonderful atmosphere & food. The service was outstanding. Sarah took excellent care of us. She guided us through the experience & served us with a bright smile! We had the mushrooms to begin, delightful.. Then we followed up with stuffed pepper & duck confit, both mouth watering. Lastly, desert... not usually huge on them. But the toffee pudding & millionaire shortbread paired with a pot of lemon tea was the perfect end to a beautiful evening at Balmoral. Likely to return & recommend to friends and family nearby & far!!!

My date and I both order the Beef Wellington. It was delicious as were the roasted baby potatoes, Brussels sprouts and green beans. Our waitress was appropriately attentive and had the sweetest smile. She obviously liked serving the beautiful food and meeting clients expectations. The ambience is everything you would expect from a Scottish or British pub. Sunday night; very conversation friendly. Would definitely recommend and return!

When you are ready for a splurge, this is the place. Everything is fresh and delicious. Great cocktail menu (and the bar is charming). Lots to choose from on the menu. Portions are large. The service is fantastic. And being welcomed by a bagpiper is extra special. Overall, a great dining experience. Highly recommend.

Very cool little gem. They have a bagpipe player on the weekends which just adds to the Scottish charm. Our server Anna was excellent, food is delicious very much a comfort food kind of place. When you order food comes out in courses you definitely don't feel rushed, but rather like you can relax and take your time to enjoy your meal, and your date night. It is a bit pricey, but for the food, and atmosphere, and great service it's definitely worth it for a nice night out. My wife, and I will definitely be back.

Serving sizes are very large. Way too many sides with the dinner. Sunday beef was a bit overcooked, and beef had a soft texture, but the taste was still good. The duck was excellent, and the pork chop was also good but overcooked. All and all, we love the place and definitely would go back and just order something different ..

Balmoral always delivers! You know how it's hard to move from your favorite dish? So far I have discovered many favorite dishes and not afraid to try something new. The food is incredible and the wait staff are knowledgeable with drinks that are spot on. If you can be there when the bag piper greats you, you know you're in for one special evening.
