“We visited The Graceful Ordinary in downtown St. Charles, IL, on a warm late September day. We had a wonderful experience at Graceful Ordinary, one that's hard to match outside of Chicago. From its comfortable yet elegant design to the unique menu, every detail was carefully considered. The food was delicious and thoughtfully presented, and the service was excellent. We were fortunate to visit on a very warm day towards the end of September. We sat on the fully screened-in veranda and enjoyed the scenery in comfort. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a unique, elevated dining experience; no matter where you're traveling from, it's worth the trip.“

“We happened across this gem of a restaurant this past week. Menu is quite large with a wonderful assortment if items. I had the 2 by 2 by 2 by 2. Two eggs served hot and prepared as requested, with.two sausages , 2 slices of bacon and 2 huge pancakes. Way more than I could eat but pancakes were delicious leftover. Breakfast specials 7-11am M-F will be tried on our next visit. Very spacious and clean with friendly service.“

“Went last night reserved a party of 6 but another friend showed up and Anthony the owner accommodated us. We ordered half the menu including the star of the show being the tomahawk steak. “My sister and I each live about 40 mins from a Cracker Barrell and meet there about every three months to catch up. Love the food! Recently had the Wednesday special Chicken and broccoli which was fabulous! Waitresses always nice and patient as we catch up. “Riganato played host to a wonderful 90th birthday luncheon for my Mother (from nearby St. Charles) in their back room this past Sunday afternoon, with just enough capacity for 24 people.

Food was excellent, as expected, from sandwiches and pizza to outstanding fish entrees, menu specials, and pastas. Service was very attentive and kind. No extra fees or surprises whatsoever.

“Service was awful! Our server, Joselyn, slammed down the glasses of water 5 minutes after we were seated, took our order and never saw her again until she slammed the bill down at our table. We saw her for a total of 3 minutes in the 45 minutes we were there. Unfortunately for Joselyn, her tip reflected her poor service. I tip 20-25% for good service, she lost out and made the restaurant less desirable to return. However, the burger was juicy and delicious, the macaroni and cheese was outstanding!“

“Rosies moved to their new location and changed menu items. I use to go for the sausage gravy, but would you know they changed the sausage gravy and biscuits!!! It's not as good as before at all. The sausage were cut into tiny pieces instead of crumbled sausage. The biscuits were to big for the little gravy given. It was good while it lasted!!!!“
