“We stopped here on a whim, wanting to try something that was not a chain. The speakeasy is in the basement of an 1850s building; the architecture alone is worth the visit. Food and service will bring us back. We ordered from the Octoberfest menu, including one of the biergarten beers. I didn't realize that the beer was only on tap outside, and felt back when the server came in soaked from the downpouring rain. But Hunter didn't complain, even joking that he kept the rain water out of my beer.“

“I attended the New Year's Eve dinner on Wednesday, December 31st at The Gray's Mill Estate, and had a great time! The servers - Andrea, Drake, and Ethan - and the Manager, Kevin - worked very hard and provided great customer service, as always! Adam was stellar behind the bar! The performers - Bert's Revenge - were excellent, as always, providing the perfect vibe to the evening! It really means a lot seeing the co-owner, Mike Baum and his wife, Jan, there mingling with their customers. They put their heart into this establishment and it shows! Overall, it was a great value and I highly recommend this venue to all!“

“We happened across this gem of a restaurant this past week. Menu is quite large with a wonderful assortment if items. I had the 2 by 2 by 2 by 2. Two eggs served hot and prepared as requested, with.two sausages , 2 slices of bacon and 2 huge pancakes. Way more than I could eat but pancakes were delicious leftover. Breakfast specials 7-11am M-F will be tried on our next visit. Very spacious and clean with friendly service.“

“My sister and I each live about 40 mins from a Cracker Barrell and meet there about every three months to catch up. Love the food! Recently had the Wednesday special Chicken and broccoli which was fabulous! Waitresses always nice and patient as we catch up. “Oh I love this place. It's my go to restaurant when I visit yorkville. I absolutely love the lemonade slushes. They have a variety of flavors and you can mix them. The food is amazing. The prices are extremely reasonable. You'll get More bang for your buck! It's less expensive than going to a fast food place and you get way more food! But the quality of food is way better than fast food. This is sit down restaurant quality. My husband had a sandwich called the gym shoe and it was humongous. Came in a large foil pan. That sandwich can feed many people and comes with fries. I love the beef tacos and it comes with fries. I also love their grapes dipped in Carmel and nuts. Which is gluten free. So glad they have some gf options. They have a huge variety of meals available. Something for everyone to enjoy. The owners are very very very kind people. They helped me figure out what was gf. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone to go here and check it out. I hope they stay in Yorkville a very long time its so good! You gotta check them out!“

My mouth was watering watching them cut it up. So flavorful and smokey. Delicious. We also had the burnt ends which were the best we have had in a long time. Tender and moist. And we had the pulled pork. OMG! The best pulled pork I have had! Juicy and tender and so flavorful. We didn’t even need sauce on it. The house bbq sauce is delicious too. The sides were tasty too. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Prices were good as well! Highly recommend. This will definitely be a frequent place for us.“
