“We stopped here on a whim, wanting to try something that was not a chain. The speakeasy is in the basement of an 1850s building; the architecture alone is worth the visit. Food and service will bring us back. We ordered from the Octoberfest menu, including one of the biergarten beers. I didn't realize that the beer was only on tap outside, and felt back when the server came in soaked from the downpouring rain. But Hunter didn't complain, even joking that he kept the rain water out of my beer.”

“AMAZING FOOD! The cook does an excellent job! Never had Mexican food prepared as well! Our server Carmen was super helpful and friendly, giving us meat & drink samples before choosing. Had chavindecas birria (perfectly seasoned goat meat) topped with Mexican cheese and wedged between two toasted homemade corn tortillas. Hubby had barbacoa tacos (such flavorful beef) with a stew for dipping. Food was great, service delightful, and a pleasant atmosphere! Our new dining spot for Mexican food! So glad we found it!”

“My family has been regular customers since 1999. We haven't had any problems. The food is wonderful and ALWAYS made fresh. The owner is so kind and sweet. Always welcomes us into her restaurant. We do carry out, but you can eat in the small dining area. Very delicious place to go !!!!”

“Seriously, do yourself a favor and get the fries with lemon pepper. And the sauce that comes with the Philly steak? I’m not even exaggerating when I say I want to bottle it up and put it on everything.
You know those commercials where the cheese stretches forever and looks unreal? Yeah… this is that in real life. No disappointment here just pure, ooey-gooey, “I know I shouldn’t but somebody stop me” kind of bliss.
Definitely worth trying. And honestly, the people behind the counter every time I’ve gone? Absolutely superb. The staff alone would bring me back.”
