“This was a good halfway spot for family to celebrate my daughter's 24th birthday. We went for lunch on a Saturday and were seated immediately. The food was fresh, excellent quality with very nice flavor. Collectively, we had taco dinner, quesadilla, enchiladas, and elote. Everyone really enjoyed their meal and we all commented that we would definitely return to this restaurant. So many restaurants are loud and dark. Because we had two grandparents with us, we wanted something where we could hear each other speak and was more light/bright - Que Brava really delivered that. It is casual, but very comfortable, clean, and inviting. They brought my daughter a slice of delicious cheesecake with a candle and the end of the meal, that was a nice surprise. The service was excellent overall. Nice job Que Brava!”

“We rented the room here for a baby shower. Pablo and his staff were amazing to work with. They were so attentive and always asking if we needed anything. Food was great, room was perfect size for our needs. They really went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of! So if you are looking for a small event space, don’t hesitate to go to Lakeview! We were so impressed from the room, food and service that were provided! “Had thee best time visiting Crusade Burger Bar for the first time last weekend! Drove an hour and 20 minutes after seeing the February Shake of the Month. A friend of mine has shared your posts frequently over the years and myself and my partner had to come experience it for ourselves! Josh was an excellent and attentive server. My favorite band (Linkin Park) played almost the entire time from the playlist chosen. Food was amazing! 10/10 would recommend! I wish you guys would have had merch to purchase! Josh hooked us up with a couple of stickers though which was super cool! Will be back again!”

“We celebrated our son’s first birthday here over the weekend and it was truly perfect from start to finish. The space is absolutely beautiful, with the most amazing view of the river. The food was incredible! I tried every single item on the buffet and loved all of it. And the staff… just wonderful. The ladies were so welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind, which made us and our guests feel so comfortable and cared for the entire time. We are so grateful for such a lovely experience and will absolutely be back. But next time we’ll be back to enjoy a peaceful brunch without also hosting 25 people 🤣 Highly, highly recommend!”

“What a hidden gem! I've lived in yorkville for over a decade and had no idea this was here.

Husband and I stopped in on a whim after the gym and we're so pleasantly surprised! We did not try a smoothie but we had the chipotle chicken club flatbread and the three cheese chicken dilla and they were DELICIOUS!

The sweet potatoes are also a must try! We started digging in so fast I forgot to even take a picture!

Plus as someone who tries to eat very healthy they have readily available nutrition information and as far as fast food goes their macros are some of the best I've found!”

It generally tasted good but it was somewhat overdone (think black bottom at edge) and ingredients were not evenly distributed to theI outer edges which meant that edge pieces were pretty much crust and sauce. we liked the sauce.”

“Tried somewhere new tonight…UH MAY ZING!!!! Everything was delicious and the service was top notch. Complimentary dough balls for the kiddos to play with=all screen devices were left untouched! The cheese curds were so creamy, the supreme pizza had a fabulous smokey flavor and crispy crust, the fettuccine Alfredo with parm crusted chicken was fierce, and the fench onion soup of the day is our son’s new favorite soup EVER!! Didn’t get a chance to taste our other son’s bacon Mac and Cheese with parm shrimp, but he kept silent while stuffing his face. WE WILL BE BACK.”

“We finally had the chance to try Italian Soda House in Yorkville, and wow...what a great experience!
The restaurant itself is absolutely gorgeous, and from the moment we walked in, our waitress greeted us with a big smile and made us feel welcome. The service was friendly, attentive, and added to an already enjoyable meal.
I ordered the Mama Lasagna, and it was incredible! The flavors were out of this world, with a rich, hearty meat sauce that was absolutely packed with meat. Every bite tasted homemade and comforting. Oh, we had the stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer...so good.
My wife had the Pesto Gnocchi with Chicken, and the portion was huge! They definitely don't skimp on the gnocchi, and the creamy pesto sauce paired perfectly with the tender chicken.
One thing we really appreciated was the generous portion sizes, you definitely get your money's worth. They also have a fun selection of refreshing summer drinks that are worth checking out.

If you're looking for delicious Italian food, generous portions, excellent service, and a beautiful atmosphere, I highly recommend giving Italian Soda House a try. We'll definitely be back!”

“Pretty decent taco truck. No complaints. The taco steak dinner was good, rice and beans were good. Also had few other items on the menu and all were good. Sometimes I think people expect way too much, these trucks offer decent food, quick and fresh. Your not going there for the dining experience as people always complain about outdoor seating etc. You grab your food either to go or sit in your car and enjoy, if they have a table or two then it's a bonus.

Give these trucks a break they are offering you decent common Mexican foods at a reasonable price without having to go to some chain store etc.”

“If you are looking for a gambling cafe with laid back atmosphere and amazing customer service this is the place to play!!!!! Especially for those that love to play but hate the playing the big casinos or sitting and playing at a gas station they offer snacks and drinks to fit all different types of people!!!”

I had to ask for plates and silverware after our appetizer had come out quickly. We have been here before and our experience was much better the first time than the second time (a year apart).”

Cheap, a variety of dishes and desserts, a rather gingery egg drop soup that was tasty, and the garlic green beans had me sharing the plate with ice cream because it is delicious. The spiced meat had a nice tingle to it, same with Tom Yum soup.

Friendly staff. Wait staff will be on top of your refills and taking used plates away in a jiffy.”
