“We came in for mother's day because this is where my wife wanted to go. She came in for 1 reason...bacon jam. And guess what, they were out! We stopped in around 4:30 / 5pm, so not like it was end of day. Bacon jam is one of their signature toppings, and they were out? Needless to say, my wife was sad, on mother's day after a 25min ride, because they were out.“

“Spectacular service! Wow, how did I miss this restaurant? I go to Yorkville often to eat and this was my first visit here. The menu has tons of selections from steaks to salad and sandwiches. The portions were too large for my crew, but I got to bring home delicious leftovers that I ate the next day! Yum! While there I spilled my drink and the waiters and waitresses ran to help clean up. They were extremely nice. The prices were reasonable too and decor was lovely. #betsyforwillcountyboard“

“I came back to my hometown and met with friends there for brunch. I was very happy to see the restaurant still there. Haven't been here in almost 20 years, but was still a very clean, friendly place. Waitress was attentive , but not overly so. Food was delicious and the portions were plenty. Will definitely be back again, hopefully before another 20 years.“

“Beautiful little spot! The food was INCREDIBLE! I unfortunately can't remember our waitress' name, but she was a sweetheart and very much aware of her tables. We never felt like we were sitting waiting to be tended to, she was always sure to be around to help us and her tables. The glass mugs, I fell in love with! The decor was absolutely beautiful! My one concern was the ants that were constantly crawling on the wall beside our booth and our table. We didn't want to make a scene and we absolutely would love to go back, but we are nervous about the ants. I'm not sure if anyone else experienced this or what was going on, but that is my only hesitancy. I hope this can be looked into. We'd love to go back!“

“Rowdy's is Yorkville's local dive in the best way. This is the place to go for inexpensive, dependable drinks and conversation. They've got gambling, darts, music... all the standards for bar entertainment plus theme nights like adult bingo. Now, the food. For a bar, the food is very good. If you're looking for a 'dining experience,' adjust your expectations or go elsewhere. The food is pretty much all fried and served in baskets or trays lined with paper. It's a great place for a hangover-busting burger or hot, salty fries and the prices are sensible. It's decent for kids earlier in the day but obviously it's not family-friendly as the night wears on. Late nights and weekends, this place earns its name. Overall, Rowdy's is dependable and tidy. The staff are pleasant and attentive without being overbearing. They don't make new folks feel alienated. Oh, and they have nifty fish tanks. I like the big plescostomus best.“

“We ordered the taco bar for a party, and it worked out great! They were accommodating, delivered on time, and most importantly the food was absolutely delicious! There was more then enough food and all the guests loved it. Will definitely cater from Salsa Verde again!“

“It was an absolute blast for lunch for 2! We had a Italian beef and giardiniera pizza that Mike and Denise's absolutely knocked out out of the park! Tuesday is half off pizza so we definitely took advantage of their amazing special! I had a ice cold Stella Artois that paired perfectly with the pizza. We dug into the buffalos shrimp as well and they definitely stood out from other pizza shops!“

“My wife and I intended to have dinner elsewhere but discovered that restaurant was closed. Legends was nearby and as we'd never been there we decided to give it a try, in spite of not being in the mood for "Pub" fare. We're both glad we did. I had the avocado bacon burger and it was the best burger I've had locally by far. The seasoned fries were great and the service was awesome. We'll be back.“
