“The woman who takes the orders can be rude occasionally, but the food is always good. The wait is often longer than expected aswell.

Vegetarian options: There is a veggie section on the menu,
but I am unsure if it is vegetarian.

Parking: Hundreds of spots, as it shares a lot with jewel/other businesses.

Wheelchair accessibility: There is very few handicapped parking spots, and there is a curb to get in, that would make it difficult to get in without walking all the way around.“

“Limited menu done right. Portions are small but prepared with care. Always consistent. Shy away from the calamari friti. I’ve had it a few times and hoped it would get better . Barely any shrimp the “ piece. Contained are small and few as is the actual squid. Loaded with veggies instead. Not a value or good choice! The twin medallions of beef are delicious but not substantial. The white fish is the best dish on the mine!“

“It’s delicious. Batavia is really lucky to have this place. This is the best Mexican restaurant in the area. I suppose I haven’t been to El taco grande in a long time but El Sazon is for sure legit. Likely better than any place you’ll find in Geneva or Saint Charles.

I got the steak burrito and came out pretty quick. It was delicious with the rice and beans.

I got the Jamaican water as a part of the meal combo and that was also very tasty. Just a hair on the sweet side for me, but it was still very nice and refreshing.

This place is delicious. The cost is close to what you would pay at McDonald’s for a meal and better quality for sure.“

They offer cocktails, spirits and wine as well as N/A options. The food is outstanding. I had the ginormous wings. Others ordered mini burger sliders and Etouffe. Both liked there dishes. This is a place we will go back to. We watched the World Cup soccer game without feeling bombarded by TVs.“

“Loved everything about our visit to Penrose Brewing. The beer selection was fantastic, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the bartenders were friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely enjoyable to chat with.

We stopped in while visiting family in town and were glad we did. I’m especially excited to hear they’re working on getting their beers into Iowa; I hope that happens soon because we’d love to enjoy Penrose back home. Looking forward to stopping by again on our next visit! 🍻

My son has special needs and they were so great with him. At the end of the dinner when they could see I was struggling a bit with my son, one server came to me and said, “don’t worry mama, we got you.” So kind. “Had thee best time visiting Crusade Burger Bar for the first time last weekend! Drove an hour and 20 minutes after seeing the February Shake of the Month. A friend of mine has shared your posts frequently over the years and myself and my partner had to come experience it for ourselves! Josh was an excellent and attentive server. My favorite band (Linkin Park) played almost the entire time from the playlist chosen. Food was amazing! 10/10 would recommend! I wish you guys would have had merch to purchase! “Service was awful! Our server, Joselyn, slammed down the glasses of water 5 minutes after we were seated, took our order and never saw her again until she slammed the bill down at our table. We saw her for a total of 3 minutes in the 45 minutes we were there. Unfortunately for Joselyn, her tip reflected her poor service. I tip 20-25% for good service, she lost out and made the restaurant less desirable to return. However, the burger was juicy and delicious, the macaroni and cheese was outstanding!“

“Walrus Room is a solid five star restaurant. Table service is fantastic. Our server knew the menu inside and out, provided useful recommendations and was very attentive without being pesty. Starting with the appetizers four of us had Shrimp DeJohgne, the Burrata, Curds and Chorizo Mussels. All very very good. From their extensive lists the ladies had wine and I had bourbon. For dinner we ordered the walleye on rice, Amish roast chicken and the prime steak frites. All really good although maybe the entrees were a bit salty. We ordered too much food and drink so the nearly five hundred dollar bill was our fault. Great service, fantastic atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back.“

“Syrup is easily the best breakfast and lunch spot in Aurora. The food is consistent which is sometimes hard to find and the flavors are always spot on. Big fan of the Loaded Potato Cakes with Tillamook Cheddar, but yesterday I found a new favorite in the Chicken & Waffles Deluxe. Their omelets are always huge and packed with ingredients. The Billion Dollar Bacon is also amazing.“
