Great local hangout. Not a beer drinker so I appreciate that they have a few other options!
Loved everything about our visit to Penrose Brewing. The beer selection was fantastic, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the bartenders were friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely enjoyable to chat with.
We stopped in while visiting family in town and were glad we did. I’m especially excited to hear they’re working on getting their beers into Iowa; I hope that happens soon because we’d love to enjoy Penrose back home. Looking forward to stopping by again...read full review

The brewery boasts a good variety of beers on tap, including the popular Taproom IPA, an American IPA with Chinook hops that is one of the stronger options. The staff offers great service, ensuring guests feel welcomed and appreciated. The outdoor seating provides a relaxing atmosphere, perfect for bringing your own food and trying their interesting and flavorful beers and seltzers. The taproom has a fantastic vibe and is lively when the game is on. They have a good selection of different types of beers. Penrose Brewing Company offers a friendly environment with plenty of options for beer lovers.
