“I haven't been at too many venues that are further out in the suburbs as a wedding photographer. This place in Yorkville, is lovely. The staff is nice and helpful. I like the fact that they will drive you out to that ideal photo locations around the golf course. I do love the way the outdoor ceremony turned out. Worth looking into for sure.“
“I came back to my hometown and met with friends there for brunch. I was very happy to see the restaurant still there. Haven't been here in almost 20 years, but was still a very clean, friendly place. Waitress was attentive , but not overly so. Food was delicious and the portions were plenty. Will definitely be back again, hopefully before another 20 years.“
“We came here for the first time today for a brunch date and it was awesome. From the moment we walked through the door it was adorable. The service was immediate and very friendly! We loved not only the delicious fresh food but the variety of food was great! The decorations on the walls and just the ambiance of the whole place was so cute and right up our alley! “Such a cute coffee shop / lunch / dinner spot. Great food - Cuban sandwich and their cheesecake ? are our favorites. Lots of spots to work from and a cute patio. Wish it was closer to the city (or had another location) and also would be lovely if their patio (or a portion) was dog friendly?. We would visit even more often with our well behaved pups. Overall a lovely spot that we enjoy visiting when in the area.“
“I'm sooo full! We came for my sons birthday party. He had the birthday shake, then he ate a burger & fries.I enjoyed a "build your own burger." It was an open faced burger with brisket, vegan mozzarella, pickled onions, lettuce, tomato, pickles, bacon jam & barbecue sauce on the side. Bacon jam made it taste like I had brunch. And a side of sweet potato fries.I took half of it the meal with me.There is cool grafiti art, traditional arcade games, and an outdoor patio. Wow! I'll definitely come back.Vegetarian options: They offer the impossible burger and vegan mozzarella.“
“The atmosphere is great and the food is delicious. Sydney served us today and did an awesome job! I have celiac disease and have to eat gluten free. She was very thorough in making sure my meal was safe for me to eat. The owner I’ve the restaurant even came over to talk with me about a cocktail I ordered and substituted one alcohol for any other to ensure that it was gluten free. The care they took in preparing our meals and drinks was really impressive and they were also very kind and fun! We will definitely be back!!“
“Rowdy's is Yorkville's local dive in the best way. This is the place to go for inexpensive, dependable drinks and conversation. They've got gambling, darts, music... all the standards for bar entertainment plus theme nights like adult bingo. Now, the food. For a bar, the food is very good. If you're looking for a 'dining experience,' adjust your expectations or go elsewhere. The food is pretty much all fried and served in baskets or trays lined with paper. It's a great place for a hangover-busting burger or hot, salty fries and the prices are sensible. It's decent for kids earlier in the day but obviously it's not family-friendly as the night wears on. Late nights and weekends, this place earns its name. Overall, Rowdy's is dependable and tidy. The staff are pleasant and attentive without being overbearing. They don't make new folks feel alienated. Oh, and they have nifty fish tanks. I like the big plescostomus best.“

“Beautiful little spot! The food was INCREDIBLE! I unfortunately can't remember our waitress' name, but she was a sweetheart and very much aware of her tables. We never felt like we were sitting waiting to be tended to, she was always sure to be around to help us and her tables. The glass mugs, I fell in love with! The decor was absolutely beautiful! My one concern was the ants that were constantly crawling on the wall beside our booth and our table. We didn't want to make a scene and we absolutely would love to go back, but we are nervous about the ants. I'm not sure if anyone else experienced this or what was going on, but that is my only hesitancy. I hope this can be looked into. We'd love to go back!“
“First visit. Beautiful decor. Our server was cool and friendly. Greeter/cashier seemed a bit introverted (which is fine, I'm also introverted, but perhaps greeting people all day in a customer service position is not the best choice for an introvert?) Fabulous pancakes. Omelette was huge but needed more cheese! ( the eggs seemed a bit overcooked perhaps?) but it was stuffed with other delicious ingredients. (Noticing a trend at restaurants in general recently that the omelettes aren't as cheesy as they used to be...not just at this restaurant). Their menu had a lot to choose from and will definitely go back to try more for breakfast and lunch. A pleasant surprise overall.“
“We love this place so much!!! The food is always delicious and the servers are SO NICE! WE LOVE JUDY!!!! As a group, we come here often for trivia and we always have a good time. Our go-to meal to fuel our brains is the veggie pizza and loaded tots (hold the meat). Pair that with some Pinz Mules and you've got a good night going. I can't speak to the bowling alley, but it's always full with league bowlers which is fun to see“

“My wife and I intended to have dinner elsewhere but discovered that restaurant was closed. Legends was nearby and as we'd never been there we decided to give it a try, in spite of not being in the mood for "Pub" fare. We're both glad we did. I had the avocado bacon burger and it was the best burger I've had locally by far. The seasoned fries were great and the service was awesome. We'll be back.“

“On Good Friday after church we planned to go to Burnt Barrel. Unfortunately there was a long wait and we weren't feeling it, so we decided to cruise by Lakeview just in case it was less busy. We lucked out, people were leaving as we pulled in. This was only the second time I'd been there, but the first time was for an event, and I didn't eat. The atmosphere is nice, it's not super loud and tables are far enough apart that you don't feel like others are encroaching into your space. Our waitress was fantastic, I wish I had caught her name, I'm usually good about that, but it had been a long day...anyway, she was funny and engaging, and had a great personality. I stared at the menu...so many great options...I decided I'd go with a burger. I love a good burger! But I'm also very picky about them, I enjoy the taste of meat, I like it pretty rare and I do not like it over seasoned. I ordered it medium rare with American cheese, lettuce, onion and mayo. It came bedded on a brioche bun...They're truly the best with their soft, delicious sweetness. I have to say this burger was in my top 5 for sure, if it's consistent it could be in my top 2. It came cooked perfectly, when I say medium rare I'm knowing that it'll still cook a bit once plated and it'll end up in front of me a perfect medium leaning rare and that's exactly what I got. The texture and taste of the meat was exactly what I'm looking for, with no obvious taste of seasoning, but instead a perfectly cooked quality burger. I can't wait to go back, I'd like to try some other things, but that burger was so good that I don't know if I'll be able to resist it!“
