“Ma and Pa chicken shack. The best fried chicken, livers and gizzards you'll ever have. I've been going to this place for forty years and I live an hour away. Gets busy on weekends. Taco Tuesdays are a must as well. Good people tastier food.“
“Great place to launch kayaks! They charge $5 to park if you're kayaking or canoeing and want to leaving a car there. Be aware their launch is pretty much all mud but the rivers low right by there so you can walk into the river then get in your kayak or canoe. But the best part is: you can bring any alcoholic drink that you order from in bar out on the river!!! You can't beat that!!!“
“Wow the food was excellent. Myself and a friend are always on the prowl for wonderful fried chicken. This place ranks in the top spot right now. We traveled 60 miles to give it a try and we’re not disappointed. Salad bar was a wide variety of excellent choices. Soup was delicious but very hot. My fault for digging right in. Loved everything. Our waitress was also amazing and accommodating.“
“Had heard about this little place from ladies at church. Cute and intimate and our server was as sweet as she could be! In fact all the staff was warm and welcoming. My food was really good. What I like most was there is a Keto option on the menu! You should advertise that more widely because the completion in all the nearby areas isn't offering any option at all! This alone will bring me back again and again! I was a little surprised you don't have grits, though. It's not Keto, but I mean, who doesn't love grits?!“

“This was only my second time going here even though I only live 4 blocks away. The food, service and atmosphere are wonderful. The only things I can think of to improve is they were short on staff and we were there quite awhile. Also the menu doesn't describe the food, we had to ask what everything was. I guess if you are a regular you might know what chicken George, chicken Jane or smothered chicken is but we did not. The variety of desserts was amazing!“
“We love Rambos and the pizza - we always have great service except for this Friday - 65 minutes for a pizza - we almost walked out - thank goodness for the appetizers - Common Rambos - you can do better ! - We will be back, the pizza is that good and the owner is a nice guy - but that was not good experience.“

“The wife and I are looking for houses in the area and we decided we should try some of the food. This place only has 3 stars because it only has two reviews. I was surprised by the food in this place When you walk in, the place looks clean. Nothing seemed sticky. Seems like it is kind of a dive bar on the outside but when you walk in, I don't get that feeling at all. It looks like this place has a bunch of regulars as everyone knows everybody's name. You get us two weirdos from out of town but we didn't feel uncomfortable at all. We ordered cheese curds, a shrimp wrap and a pork tenderloin sandwich. Cheese curds are definitely real and not frozen. Some places you get frozen curds not here. The tenderloin sandwich had a Thai sauce which even without the sauce would have been a good sandwich. The sauce made the sandwich great. My wife had a shrimp wrap and that was also delicious. The fries had this pepper seasoning that were making them hit the spot. The waitress/bartender was pretty attentive. It was slow when we got here but told me the tenderloin was good and she was correct. She also kept our drinks full. Plus, it is just her and watching her now as the place got more crowded she is not messing around. The prices are very reasonable too. We are walking out spending 50 dollars with 5 drinks and an appetizer. That is not bad at all. If we got bottles, we would have saved more. I would recommend coming to this place. If we get a house in this area, we will be back. This place needs a better rating than 3 stars and that's why I'm rating this as I sit at the restaurant.“
“Everything from the fried mushrooms to the bluegill dinner was awesome. Our waiter/bartender was super attentive and nice. Not one complaint!!! A nice place hidden in Wedron, with great prices and great food. Glad we passed The Office and went here.“
“Server was super sweet and attentive. We were a party of 7. 4 littles and 3 adults. She was a dear to the littles. Listened to their orders and read them back to them to make sure. Not all servers do that a lot of them talk only to the parents so it was nice for them to feel in charge for a little while. I got a denver skillet it was pretty yummy. Kids all had the pancakes with sausage or bacon, some with and some without chocolate. Our friend had the special. Eggs, bacon and I believe biscuits and gravy. He said they were delicious. Hubby got a breakfast with all the meats cant remember what it was called. He cleared his plate. We love to stop here when were in the area.“
“Stopped in here one day after driving a friend home figured we'd grab a bite to eat , and to my surprise they had "SMELT" which I used to always have growing up and you never see that in any restaurants nowadays, so of course I ordered it and it was just as good as I can remember definitely will be going back to this place more often, everyone was very friendly“

“I was surprised especially not knowing what to expect in such a small town as Sheridan Illinois. The building was really nice inside it was made out of a grain elevator of it's original wood inside we originally went there to play the slots and as we were walking and there was a band playing it was a really good band I was dancing“
