“The young man with dark hair from Louisiana was one of the most kind people to us! He was so polite, smiled and offered a scoop of custard since we had to wait a little longer. We did not complain about the wait. He apologized and offered the custard. When we got our order he apologized again and sent us on our way with a smile and a have a great evening! Whatever kind of training this young man had should definitely be followed with every fast food chain! Or every restaurant in general! I hope he is waiting on us the next time we go!“

“This is our go-to restaurant when we don't feel like cooking or are working late. For a small, small-town restaurant they have phenomenal beefs, burritos and gyros believe it or not. Service always comes with a smile, and they are amazingly fast with your orders.“

“A hidden gem that has the best burgers the best prices and the best hospitality around. Tuesdays are the go to day for us .Cheeseburger fries and a few frosted cold tap beer for around 10 bucks. Best kept secret around. The burgers are the real deal Not those froze patty’s you might find at your local grocery store. The fry’s are hot and crispy and the beer is super cold. What also sets this gem apart is the extremely friendly service we get from the waitress Dafina. She’s the bomb! Always greets you with a happy and friendly demeanor. She goes above n beyond the call of duty to assure you are well taken care of. Most times you will see the owners on sight too. Great people who have been doing this job for more years than I could count. Stop in and come hungry, I promise you will leave happy and full. And just maybe you might meet a new friend?“

“I’ve eaten at this Culver’s several times. The staff is always super nice and it’s very clean. Bathroom is clean and there is a changing table for babies. They have plenty of high chairs and even put packets of cleaning wipes on each high chair for costumers to use. I always order salad and the veggies are fresh and not wilted at all. A lot of other fast food places have less than fresh salads. They also have diet root beer in the fountain machine which I rarely see. I would definitely recommend.“

“I came in today with a group of individuals from Open Door Rehabilitation Center, and we had a lovely lunch! Matthew was the kind employee who took all of the orders for our group. He was super sweet, diligent, and patient! I had to make eight separate orders, all with cash and all with receipts, and he made it as stress-free for ME as possible, even though there was a very large line behind me! He was very friendly and sweet, and is the reason I wanted to leave a review today! Everytime I come here the food is great and service is kind, but Mathew's service made it extra special this visit.

Wheelchair accessibility: We had 2 individuals in wheelchairs today and we find it is easy to move around the dining area even if it's busy!“

Nice large outside covered patio to sit out on if the weather is nice otherwise lots of tables and booths inside. Dining room section and bar section. The pretzel is huge and the nachos are as well. “I have been coming to the Somonauk Pancake House since I started Landscaping in 2019 they always have the friendliest staff. When you go in there it is like you were at home plus the food is definitely a fair price! I would say they are the best priced restaurant with the best food ! I mean come on what restaurant can you go in and get kids meals for $4.99 in there actually a lot of food on the plate!? I remember going there on a Friday and taking my whole crew there after working long hours of Landscaping and going on a Friday and getting fish and it was so amazing well I moved out of the area but still threw some jobs out there and we went there today and all the food is still amazing still a good price and they even redid the inside which is amazing!!! We love you Somonauk pancake house!! Plus I have to say our very first job we ever did as a company they got our business card from the Somonauk Pancake House! Eating an amazing meal make somebody’s mood really good. And they have amazing food I recommend them over and over and over again!!!!“

Parking: Parking on both sides of the restaurant. We ate at 5 o'clock at the height of business. Lucky enough to find a parking spot as the place was packed“

“My family and I come to Last Chance very often. My husband and I went for our anniversary this last May because the bartenders, establishment and food have always been phenomenal. The girls who work there go above and beyond when my small kids are with us and we really do love spending time there. This last Thursday someone was working who I had not seen before.. and to say the least I thought she was very rude. I was almost embarrassed because we had friends in town and were so excited to show them our new favorite spot. She said she would not take our food order outside, we had to go in and get our own drinks, and when food came out I had to grab it from her as she made no effort to come down the ramp and set it down at our table. I’m not one to complain but I really wasn’t impressed with the bluntness and cold shoulder attitude. I think her name was Alexis. We will be back, as I really can’t say enough how great this place is. I really hope it was a fluke.“

There were 5 of us for dinner and most were very good, the skirt steak was a bit grizzly and I should have checked the seasoning first because I used the seasoned flaming salt, very little, and the skirt steak was way too salty.
