The classic vibe is all there. A booth for cleaning supplies, because can you even trust a buffet where you don't see a wash pail out and about? A booth reserved for the kids of the owner/worker on duty? Absolutely, and they're polite. Pizza, onion rings, and French fries? You bet your sugar buns. Tajin on the table? Absolutely, this isn't Darien.

Honey Chicken, Weirdly Sweet Crab Rangoons, Crayfish.. just all the classics and don't forget the Jello cubes.

“I came here to order a smoothie. At first, the smoothie was half liquid like it has been stayed there for hours. It did not tasted fresh nor it looked fresh. I walked in again asking for a remake and explain the employee what has happened. The employee was polite and remade it for me right away. “Lao Sichuan has the most authentic and consistently amazing Chinese food to be found anywhere in the U.S. Having spent some time living in China while I was in undergrad, there are certain flavors that I crave, which your run of the mill American style Chinese restaurant will not have. My wife and I live in St Charles and make the 1 hour 20 minute round trip at least once a week to get our fix. The food is that good. The owner is seemingly always there, and obviously genuinely cares about ensuring quality in what is served every time. Our favorites are Chengdu Style King Pao Chicken, Ma Po Tofu, Beef in Pure Cumin Powder, Toothpicks Lamb, and the Xiao Long Bao. I cannot for the life of me fathom how this restaurant does not have a higher rating. It is the best. Try it. You won't regret it.“

“Quite honestly one of the most pleasant experiences I've had dining in. The dining room is very calm and nice, it's exactly as pictured in the reviews and they had great 90s grunge music playing too, that and the lucky cat statue were my favorite parts :). Aside from my favorite kind of atmosphere the people were so polite and kind. The service was amazing, when I let them know my allergies they made it very easy and simple. They brought out the food fairly fast too with really good sauces and everything was hot and delicious. I highly recommend the bbq pork fried rice and the eggroll. “This place is located at a Chinese supermarket food court yet they offer great Taiwan food. I brought my Taiwanese friend here once, now she is willing to drive back just to have meal here. Secondly, the food was great; we ordered combination fried rice, Sesame Chicken, Wonton Soup, Chowmein and crab rangoon. “The incense in the restaurant is very nice. I ordered shrimp egg roll (crispy) and potstickers. I can tell the egg rolls are homemade, and you'd be surprised how.manu places don't make them from scratch. The pot stickers are delicious and homemade as well. I was a tiny bit unhappy that my order wasn't ready when I got there, but the online ordering platform scheduled it for their exact opening time, so I'm going to give them a pass on that. Hope to try other things sometime.“

“My son and his wife live in downtown Plainfield and started going to Great Wall and told us they liked the food better than the restaurant that we frequented for 20+ years on the south side of Plainfield. Last night, my wife and I decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. I had the Beef with Garlic Sauce and Onions. It was packed with beef and I asked for it to be extra-spicy and they delivered on the heat. The garlic sauce was a lot like the one I remember as a kid from a restaurant we went to a lot in Chinatown. My wife had Pork and Pan Fried noodles and it was equally delicious. We opted for large servings and got dinner last night and lunch today out of it so basically two meals out of each portion. The staff was cordial and gracious. We are both looking forward to trying more of the menu items. I highly recommend you give them a try, I don't think you'll be disappointed.“

Cheap, a variety of dishes and desserts, a rather gingery egg drop soup that was tasty, and the garlic green beans had me sharing the plate with ice cream because it is delicious. The spiced meat had a nice tingle to it, same with Tom Yum soup.

“Nicest folks with the best Chinese food in Aurora. That's all I had to say at first, but then I read the rest of the reviews and couldn't believe what other folks are saying about this place.

I've been here over and over, so have my friends. The staff are incredibly polite, and the food is great. I've never had to wait for a very long time EVER. If something is wrong with my order (which is so rare that it only happened once), they immediately fixed it.

I've seen customers act up and doordash/Uber eats drivers give them attitude, and I listen in because I'm nosy like that. So far, it hasn't been the employee's fault yet.

People have been mad that they don't have enough money, and get angrier when they don't get free food.

Delivery drivers get mad because the cooks can't magically create a dinner for 6 people in two minutes.

TLDR: Bad reviews are usually people making stuff up because they're mad. China Hut #3 has good food and great customer service.“
