“The food and service were what I expect from Panda Express. Consistent recipes made fresh throughout the day. The staff was upbeat and the dining area was tidy.
The only down side i saw personally was that, on this occasion, the fountain drink mix seemed off, but as soon as I mentioned it, someone went to see if they could fix it. I hope it was better for those who came in after us. (My daughter mentioned that the bathroom facilities were lacking, but I didnt go in there, so I cant say.)“

“After ordering from all six Chinese restaurants that are in South Elgin or bordering on Elgin, I can confidently say this restaurant has the best Chinese food in the area.

The food quality and flavor is not only on par or better than all of the others, but the pricing is the most fair as well.

With respect towards the other Chinese restaurants, I don't see why I would order Chinese food from anyone else while this establishment is around.“

“I came here to order a smoothie. At first, the smoothie was half liquid like it has been stayed there for hours. It did not tasted fresh nor it looked fresh. I walked in again asking for a remake and explain the employee what has happened. The employee was polite and remade it for me right away. I’ve been a customer for this business for years and would keep being one! Thank you for your understanding, patience and kindness! And best of all, they upgraded my drink size to a bigger size!!“

“We have been looking for good Chinese food for a while. Ive tried at least 5 places before this place and man was I surprised when we tried Gee and Jays! The food is amazing! “Quite honestly one of the most pleasant experiences I've had dining in. The dining room is very calm and nice, it's exactly as pictured in the reviews and they had great 90s grunge music playing too, that and the lucky cat statue were my favorite parts :). Aside from my favorite kind of atmosphere the people were so polite and kind. The service was amazing, when I let them know my allergies they made it very easy and simple. They brought out the food fairly fast too with really good sauces and everything was hot and delicious. I highly recommend the bbq pork fried rice and the eggroll. First time here and I will definitely be back soon :)“

“We went there on Christmas day and they appeared to be a bit harried abd unprepared, but the service was ok overall. I definitely liked the food and my sesame tofu snd wonton soup were very tasty. The egg rolls were also above average. I would definitely go back and see if the service improves.“

“The incense in the restaurant is very nice. I ordered shrimp egg roll (crispy) and potstickers. I can tell the egg rolls are homemade, and you'd be surprised how.manu places don't make them from scratch. The pot stickers are delicious and homemade as well. I was a tiny bit unhappy that my order wasn't ready when I got there, but the online ordering platform scheduled it for their exact opening time, so I'm going to give them a pass on that. Hope to try other things sometime.“

“I DoorDashed from here. Everything is full of flavor & was warm when I got it even though I live 20+ minutes away. They wrapped my soda in cardboard with a rubber band so that It wouldn't move around or get hot with the food. The eggrolls from here are the best I've ever had. Pricing is very reasonable even with the extra cost for the long distance.“

“This place has some of the best Chinese food I have found near Hanover park/streamwood/Bartlett. Mongolian Beef is more traditional (spicy and not sweet, packed with beef, white and green onions and includes the crunchy white noodles). The fried rice with shrimp came with good size shrimp. The crab Rangoon is also packed with filling and you can tell they change their oil frequently. We also enjoyed their beef lo mein and sesame chicken. Their food is not salty, but if you like that add a little salt yourself to bring out a tad more flavor. Don’t plan on dining in, it’s not the greatest atmosphere. It is clean but clearly meant for carry out first.“

From the service (I'm so sorry that I didn't get his name, but he was a younger guy, working at 7:30 on 6/18 and it was his mom's birthday....if that helps up identify which worker)....he was super nice and super helpful! Please pass along how great he is!! But besides the service, the food was AMAZING! I've been in search of a new place, and I'm beyond happy that I happened to be getting ice cream, next door, and happened to see their menu in the window. “The woman who takes the orders can be rude occasionally, but the food is always good. The wait is often longer than expected aswell.

Vegetarian options: There is a veggie section on the menu,
but I am unsure if it is vegetarian.

Parking: Hundreds of spots, as it shares a lot with jewel/other businesses.

Wheelchair accessibility: There is very few handicapped parking spots, and there is a curb to get in, that would make it difficult to get in without walking all the way around.“

“I’m always seeking out new to me places and I’ve heard of this spot from other friends for many years and just recently had the chance to visit. I wish I would’ve visited sooner!

This spot is not much for ambience inside or outside but on the day of my visit they had brisk takeout and the dining room was packed…real quick. I’m sure a lot of folks go here for the Chinese menu items but I was there for the Lao goodies! They did not disappoint!

We had the fried meat balls; a mixed app plate with chicken wings, Lao sausage, and beef jerky; lap beef; and a healthy serving of sticky rice (ok maybe we had 2 to sop up the lap beef).

Flavors were on point. Medium spice had us excited and rolling at the same time as it got spicier throughout the meal for the lap…but it was so good! I can’t wait to go back and try more!

“No. 1 china is all right by me! This particular day I visited I believe the restaurant closed at 8, we got there and 7:50 and she was still sweet to us. We ordered everything but the kitchen sink and she took our order with a smile. If I’m ever in the area again, I would for sure stop by again. The chicken wings were my favorite!!“

The eggrolls and lo mein were really good and we were happy with them , but the sweet and sour sauce really lacked flavor... the chicken itself was light and crispy and had good flavor, but the sauce on the side was basically red colored water - it added no value to the chicken , was neither sweet or sour... just tasted like nothing... Other than that one menu item, i would come back and recommend this place.“

“I placed an order online for pickup and I didn't catch the name of the gal but she has blue hair. She was totally on top of everything was handling all the online orders like a pro! The restaurant was packed - 5:30 on a Friday! People will were lined out the door. It was so full. Kudos to the three guys in the kitchen. They are Rockstars, did not crumble under pressure at all.
