“I don't go there for the atmosphere. It's next to a gas station, by the stank fox river BUT the tacos, rice and beans are great. Just like Abuelita's. One week last summer/fall they moved somewhere else so I visited a few others in the area (one on the river in downtown Oswego and one on Rt 71 near the highschool). The others didn't compare. I'm heading over there in a few minutes actually. Hopefully they still have their Tuesday taco special.

Parking: There are about 7-10 spots shared with the gas station right next to the truck and about 4 more, 20 yards away.“

“I dropped in this evening and got 4 tacos, 2 carne asada with everything and 2 Al pastor with everything. I also got a torta de carne asada. The girl who took my order was sweet and genuine! I ordered my food and was told it would be 10 minutes. There was one other guy waiting on his order there so I didn’t mind waiting. The wait was not as long as the previous comments made it seem.. it’s ONE guy in there cooking so I was understanding. Besides, I want fresh food anyway lol now for the food:Torta de carne asada w/ everything: 10/10! The bread they use is different. It’s like a French bread but I LOVED it. It was super cheesy and full of flavor! My tacos de carne asada were just that, simple and tasty. If you want a decent taco this will suffice!The al Pastor was a 4/10 for me.. I wasn’t a big fan. All in all, I will be back for that torta! Im glad I dropped in before reading the reviews. The food was better than what they’re rated at!“

Im from joliet and the los comales' out there are MUCH bigger, but i miss the food alot was my regular after work. This is more a Take Out style Los Comales. Theres some sit down but anything more then a 4 person group be tricky seating wise. The food however hits just like home's. JUICY meats on your food, spicy carrots and jalepenos on the side, great verde sauce, & complimentary chips and salsa. Maira did a great job making sure i had everything i needed like extra limes, and i was eating alone so she gave me some good conversation on her down time which made the meal better then stuffing my face in silence. If it ur 1st time get "Barbacoa" its never been beaten by other resturaunt that have it on the menu. Whether its in tacos or burrito that Barbacoa is gonna keep you coming back i promise ?“

“Shout out to the manager on duty tonite! Nov. 14th at 9 pm, I called complaining how my driver was trying to pick up my food and the driver called to say it’s basically been stolen and my Ubers are cancelling, the manager took my sass so professionally and I quickly understood and apologized after he explained. It’s very nice to have a young man be professional and it’s very important that I admit I was a little sassy but thank you to this young man for explaining things to me and offering a quicker solution to my problems!“

“We go for the mushroom tacos and take a LARGE salsa and chips to go whenever we eat there. The restaurant isn't much to write home about, but the staff are very helpful and friendly and the food is excellent.

“Best steal burrito I've had. It was an actual steak, grilled then cut to pieces, not the chopped steak that's been on a grill forever. Perfectly seasoned, almost didn't need any salsa (and that's part of my reason for getting burritos!). Husband loves pastor and is a bit of a connoisseur and said it was phenomenal. The red sauce is a good actual pepper red, not too hot. The green sauce is the best verde sauce I've had. Very authentic on both. The house salsa was very fresh and bright, with some heat to it. Or server was very polite and accommodating. We may have found a new favorite. 5/5.“

“Pastor burrito was a fantastically greasy, savory indulgence. Very pleased they gave us plenty of salsa in bottles to use generously on all the food, that's A+ for a Mexican restaurant. Tortilla chips were a little thicker than I prefer, but overall a satisfying meal.

Would definitely consider coming back if I'm ever in the area, but probably wouldn't go out of my way - just a little too pricey for the portion. But they have plenty of options on the menu, so I'm open to it.

I shan't levy my Indiana prejudices against the higher pricing of Illinois at the door of Mi Rancho, but I'd be hard pressed to pay more than $12 for a burrito dinner again, even in this economy.“

“I cannot say enough good things about Dos Bros. I’ve had it a few times for lunch, & have used it twice for catering. The food is delicious, the portions are decent (way better than Chipotle), and the service is top notch. For my catering order today, they helped load my car & gave me containers to make it easy to carry. I have never had a bad experience here & can’t understand why it’s not busier than it’s competitors.

“I use to come here every Friday , when I lived in the neighborhood. It was always the best place to go for Fruit in a cup. Strawberries with crème aka Fresas Con Crema ?. From their Sweet corn ? to their fruits, ice creams, and fresh waters. Down to their ice cream popsicles they never disappoint. Parking: It’s a little tough but they do keep the line moving ( it’s a neighborhood favorite ) . It’s worth the wait!

“Highly recommend going to the comedy vault on a Friday or Saturday for an early show and then as soon as it's done heading over to this neat little outdoor below ground level Mexican restaurant. Great little hidden spot. Food is so good!!“

“We were out shopping and didn't want to stop and ruin the shop till you drop vibe but we were starving and a drive thru wouldn't cut it but both agreed a quick taco or quesadilla would hit the spot. We decided on Taco Dale since we'd never had it before, it was a Friday night and again wanted something quick. Our initial thought or plan was (as it usually is) was to just get it to go and eat in the car and keep shopping.... we went in and ordered a cheese quesadilla and a steak quesadilla I asked if they could cut them in half (so we could split them) to let us each try both. They come with pico, guac, and crema. We didn't get the pico - just guac and crema. The girl was easily accommodating. As we were waiting for the order we quickly realized it may be greasy and we should probably stay and just eat it there. Once we got the order we told them we were going to stay and Christian was extremely accommodating and kind - he brought us chips, salsa, hot and mild sauce and drinks since we weren't going to initially stay. He also kept checking on us to see if we needed anything as well. Christian was also very kind and friendly to the other patrons that came in as well. The menu is abundantly full, there is something for everyone and the menu can be easily accommodating if needed. The ladies were very kind as well (I didn't get any names though I'm sorry). The restaurant itself was clean, warm and inviting. It is also ADA accessible. We will definitely be returning customers.“
