“OMG ... I'm NEVER ordering tacos from anywhere else ever again!!! And my SUPER PICKY husband said he can't help but agree. Tried this place for the 1st time and everything was so unbelievably delicious! I can't even find the appropriate words to describe how good it was. I ordered 5 different kinds of tacos, some nachos, and elote, and it was all simply amazeballs! Their al pastor is beyond reproach! Salsas and chimichurris were to die for, too! So, soooooooo good...*chef's kiss*“
“This restaurant is amazing. It’s in a hidden nook next to a vape shop. As soon as you walk in, you’re greeted with smiles and get a warm homey feeling. The prices for breakfast are reasonable and the food is delicious. My husband and I will be back.“
“My husband and I grabbed lunch at Burrito Parrilla Mexicana in a week day. We were looking for something quick and hearty, and not a burger-type drive thru. We had driven past this spot and bookmarked it on our "to try" list in the neighborhood. We were so glad we finally had the chance to swing by. We dined in and ordered: 3 taco dinner* (steak, chicken, carnitas) steak burrito 2 fountain drinks *dinner = with rice and beans for a few bucks extra Their set-up inside is fast casual. Order at the counter and they will bring your food out to you. Drinks are self-serve. Our meal came with complimentary chips and house made salsa. The salsa was so good I could drink that stuff. The server also brought out 3 more bottles of salsa (salsa verde, a ghost-peppery spicy one, and a smoked chile one); I don't know the actual names of them but they were a trio of the best flavors to add to your meal. They have horchata and agua de piña (pineapple water) in these self serve clear tubs where you'd typically see iced tea, lemonade, or some sort of slushie. I had 3 full-cup refills of the pineapple water (!!!) because it was that delicious. This might also be called their piña colada drink, I am not 100% sure. It's sugary, yes, and perhaps I was extra thirsty but the drink had little bits of pineapple pulp which was so so good. It was so refreshing and I've never had a drink like it before. Order a fountain drink and get it if you're here. For my 3 taco dinner, I chose to get a chicken taco, steak taco, and a carnitas taco. You can choose your protein and steak is 50 cents extra per taco. I got the "dinner" add on with rice and beans to make it a meal, and you can choose from refried beans or black beans. Everything was tasty and the food came out quickly. If I had to say one thing that wasn't really a thing is that the lime wedges that came with my meal had no juice. It's one of those limes when you squeezed, the pulp was all for show. The limes were dry and had no juice but I didn't bother to request more limes. Their trio of salsas that come in bottles (that they'll bring to your table with your food) is all you really need imo. My husband got the burrito and we said out loud between our bites, "I can see ourselves being regulars at this place." Next time I'd love to try their tortas and guacamole. We will be back!“
“Overall (A+) Yes A+ This place is fricking awesome. Get over there today. Basically it's a food stall inside a grocery store. The food is excellent, large portion sizes, friendly service and a great value. What more do you want? It is the best $7 I have spent in years - maybe decades Food (A+) I got a steak torta and it was amazing. Excellent combination of flavors and huge! OMG. I love Tortas but sometimes it's too much bread and too little meat. Not at this place - it's too much of everything. Huge tasty portion size with plenty of meat. They clearly make the food fresh and in front of you. If you are hungry get a torta will hit the spot . Service (A+) Super friendly and super fast. The gentlemen at the counter were super nice and friendly. They said it would take 10 minutes and of course it took less and they didn't rush the process. They actually care about the quality of the food they are making and clearly are eager to impress. I wish all individuals in service industry can be like this. Value (A++) So I would have happily paid $9.95 for this Torta since the food quality was fresh and flavorful and the portion size was huge. But they only charged me $6.95!!!!!!! It is the best $6.95 I have spent in decades. It is sooo good and such a great value. I'm bringing the family here and this is now my go to place for authentic quality "Mexican" food. I love this place and I want them to be in business so here is some advice 1. Boost your social media marketing so you can get more customers 2. Raise your prices you are too cheap. 3. Why only 11-6pm? Why can't you stay open longer? Would be happy to connect so you can make more business and stay open. You have received my first A+ rating in a very long time. Let's get the word out so you can make more $$$$$“
“The tequila selection is one of the best I have seen in a long time. Service at the bar by Armando and the lovely female bartender(did not get her name) was incredible. Some tasty concoctions being made by those two. Was impressed and will visit again soon. 5️⃣ stars in my most humble opinion.“
“I am in love with Fire It Up’s lunch special - 2 tacos and a side for $10! The food tastes great, the staff is always friendly, welcoming with smiles and amazing! I enjoy when I can dine in- pleasurable environment and memorable dining experiences. Everyone is fantastic and has their heart in service!“
“Very delicious, quality and authentic food. I had the veggie tacos and chips with salsa. The only suggestion I have is to add more “chunkiness” to the salsa, as mine was very thin and seemed more like hot tomato purée. This, however, might be the traditional way to make it, so that’s just a preference point and not a hit on the restaurant themselves. I really enjoyed it!Dietary restrictions: Vegan“
“So, listen, I completely understand changing your menu and I also understand that you are a Mexican restaurant and you’d prefer to serve Mexican food. BUT since we were last there, you changed your menu and removed the chicken strips and fries. So, atmosphere was great, service was great, food was very good, blood orange margarita was tasty, but we’ll be back when my picky 10 year old turns 18 because I can afford - occasionally - $13 for her chicken strips but not another $60 for a sitter and I’m not willing to fight with her about her awful dietary choices during a rare night out. Please bring back the chicken strips. Otherwise, we’ll miss you.“
“I dream about these tacos. Their elotes, margaritas, Paloma’s, and mushroom mulas are so good. This is the place I take my out of town guests to when they want Mexican food. It’s street food, so casual but delicious. Wishes: that you didn’t order on a kiosk exclusively and that there was some kind of sound absorbing materials. My friends and I would love to hang and have a margarita but it’s so loud and the chairs are so uncomfortable that it’s not made for that.Vegetarian options: Mushroom or avocado or elote taco options“
“It's hard to find fresh authentic Mexican food in here suburbs, but this place was great! I ordered the Gordita with steak, it was super fresh and had just the right amount of crunch! There have very little seating but we took our food to-go. The employees were very nice and answered our questions, will definitely be back!“

“I was just there and I am upset I never had a problem but I got the wrong meat in my burrito and they put lettuce in the burrito. I am very disappointed. Then I tried to call and it keeps telling me busy signal. This was the only way I could reach out!“
“Its one of the best tasting Mexican restaurants which servers delicious and traditional style Mexican dishes. The cost is cheap and the service is very good. If u dine in hou will be given complementary chips and salsa just like any Mexican restaurant.“
“First time here. Not the last. The service was great. Can’t complain at all. Was quick and very polite. Atmosphere was a little loud but overall a nice place. Felt a little crowded. That’s a personal thing I guess. Now, the food. The tacos were pretty good! The shells were a little dry but overall good! The salsa was alright. A little watery for my liking. Guac…now that was awesome! To tie it all together we had the fried ice cream, had a stale taste to it. That was the only major disappointment. Overall 4 out of 5“
“We LOVE taco madre! It quickly became our regular to-go spot for yummy vegetarian options! It’s quick, made with fresh ingredients, and doesn’t feel bad on the wallet. We typically take it to-go, but the interior is clean and always tidy! The employees are SO kind, sweet, and friendly.Vegetarian options: We’re obsessed with the portobello tacos and chile relleno tacos! Made fresh and always delicious!“
“The atmosphere is fantastic, and the food is very delicious. I absolutely love the steak fajita and the al pastor taco – both are must-haves that I would happily order again. The mango margarita was amazing, though the melting ice diluted it a bit. Next time, I will order it without ice. The service was enjoyable with a fun and friendly waiter, and the venue was lively with numerous birthday celebrations. Note: every Thursday from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm, there's a live mariachi band! While my top choice for Mexican food is still Front Street Cantina, the ambiance and party vibe here are unmatched. For birthday parties, especially for those who love Mexican food in downtown Naperville, this place is undoubtedly the go-to spot.“
