“Lore V. was absolutely amazing!! She was funny, personable, and gave us great drink and food suggestions! You can tell she loves what she does! She is an asset to this restaurant, and I definitely recommend asking for her to be your server!“
“This is a wonderful family-owned restaurant. One of the very few places which serves vegan breakfast. We started off with Hot Chocolate which was good and then, we had a vegan frittata and a regular frittata. Both of them tasted well. They replaced mushrooms with peppers. You get hashbrowns (or fruit) and toast (or pancake) with it. With the frittata being very thick in size, the pancake & hashbrown with it, makes the overall dish very heavy. Pricing is little bit on the higher side. Service is fantastic. Staff are very friendly.Vegetarian options: They have vegan egg breakfast . They have a separate menu card for it. Highly recommend veggie frittata.“
“This place is seriously so amazing. I found it on door dash a week or so ago, and have already had their food 3 times since. I am obsessed! Absolutely love their take on tacos, I appreciate the extra toppings, and I can say their salsas are the best I've ever had. Also I'm assuming their flautas are really popular, I was finally able to get some the other night and they are insanely good. I would eat here every day if I could!!“
“When in doubt, our favorite burrito spot near home!! Everything is always delicious, we particularly love their burrito's and tacos. We have tried almost all the meats (Chorizo we are coming for you next time), and have never regretted it.They use reliable ingredients, you always know exactly what you are going to get. We have never encountered questionable bits you can sometimes find when you order steak or pork at other places. The steak and chicken have a subtle grilled taste without any hit of heat (if heat is your thing, they got sauces for that). If you are looking for something on the sweet and mild side, their Al Pastor is a solid choice. You can never go wrong with carnitas or ground beef but their refried beans often compliment the grilled chicken and steak in ways that downright delight.TLDR: You are in good hands no matter what, just order something already.“
“Honestly one of the best burritos I’ve had in my life. Chips and salsa are amazing too. Better than the burritos I get in Los Angeles which is considered to have the best Mexican food. Naperville Taqueria is authentic, made with love, and absolutely delicious. Friendly staff and awesome decor inside as well. Will return soon!“
“Its one of the best tasting Mexican restaurants which servers delicious and traditional style Mexican dishes. The cost is cheap and the service is very good. If u dine in hou will be given complementary chips and salsa just like any Mexican restaurant.“
“My mother and I have been ordering from this place for years. (Unsure where some of the lukewarm reviews are coming from). They’ve upped their prices over time, but so has everyone else. They have the best cheese enchiladas I’ve ever eaten and the quality is consistent. They don’t always answer their phones and the drive-thru can be a bit of a wait even when you’ve called ahead. But man, is it tasty. If you are in a pinch for some late-night Mexican food, this place hits the spot.Vegetarian options: Quesadillas, enchiladas, breakfast burrito, seafood tacos“
“This is not a cookie cutter Mexican restaurant. This place smells amazing and seems nice, clean, but minimal. The food was even better than it smelled. I can see why my cousin says it is her favorite place when she is craving Mexican food. Also, the sizes served are big!“
“Returned to "Fire It Up" after a few years. Sad to see that the mushroom taco was not on the menu, only as a special that was in January. My daughter "loved" the "Truck burrito" (minus the pork) and the hubby really liked the brisket burrito as well. The customer service was great, and a clean and beautiful restaurant and atmosphere. Only wished that they still had the food truck, or closer to the city.“
“We used to go to taco dale but ever since we dine here, we keep coming back! The Burrito Parrilla Mexicana is very affordable, one of the best Mexican chain you can find! They have quality food, especially steak and portion is huge(no complaint here). The food is amazingly delicious! I cant tell it's a restaurant with server because you do need to order it at the cashier and paid there but there is a sever who bring the food out for you and he is very attentive and friendly, always come back ask you if you need anything! The restaurant is clean and has several TVs They also have drive-thru!“
“We tried this spot for the first time. We were shocked by the special vegan/vegetarian menu. We had the soy sausage torta and tostada. Also tried the soy meat tostada. We’ll be back to try more items!Vegetarian options: Special vegetarian/vegan menu! Amazing!“
“Legit Mexican food in Naperville. I lived here a few years and yearned for good Mexican food. Totopos opened the year I moved. Happy to now have a great place to go when I visit. - Located in a strip mall. Only one table in the corner and a high bay against the window - the lady working the counter was fantastic. Talked with passion and knowledge about the menu, prep style, seasonings, etc. - I had the chiliquiles and y'all...they were legit. Over easy eggs, extra sauce (my request) and a well prepped chorizo (good flavor and not greasy). Flavor of the sauce was fantastic. - chips still were firm, which allowed the sauce to hold the eggs and chorizo when eating. Beans and rice were well flavored (assuming the beans were cooked w lard - which is the only way to go). - my companions had the steak breakfast burrito and the veggie breakfast burrito. As you can see, they are seared on the grill after prep for a nice crunchy outside. I will be back - every time I am near Naperville. Kinda wish I was there now.“
“We've been wanting to try this place for years but their hours can make that a bit of a challenge with our schedule. Lunch today worked out and the restaurant is wonderful to dine in. Beautiful, colorful decor. Fantastic vibe. I had their traditional margarita and while it was good, didn't quite satisfy my margarita craving. We started with the guacamole/elotes trio. We were curious trying strawberries in guacamole and it works so well. The chips are superior to most other restaurant chips and are perfect for dipping. The ceviche was alright but probably wouldn't order again with so many other options to choose from. The tuna tostada was well-balanced and delicious. Our fish tacos were really good; large pieces of fish that felt light. Only drawback was we would've like a little more crunch from the delicious cabbage topping. The shrimp bowl was definitely worth getting but not after all the amazing food we had before it arrived, had to take almost all of it home. Next time I'd get it by itself so I could eat the whole thing fresh. We finished with the flan and it was different than any flan we've had before. Wonderful flavors not just drowned out by sweetness like we've experienced elsewhere. Our server Yarjelis was amazing!Parking: There are only a handful of 2 hour limit parking spots on the street but there is a parking garage on the same street as the restaurant.Kid-friendliness: They have booster seats but no high chairs, waitress was very patient and helpful with our children.“
