“Loved Lima Fresca! We went on a Fri early eve and we’re able to get a table by the outside. The hostess was extremely nice and cheerful. Food was excellent and very reasonable! We had the chicken tinga quesadilla and some tacos, lots of quality meat in the menu items. Margaritas are small for the price. We are definitely going back soon!!!“

They also serve you chips and salsa when you dine in. They also give you real silverware (the restaurant/bar across the street known for its wings uses plastic silverware)“

Totopos absolutely delivers! Their vegan options are clearly not an afterthought, with several offerings to choose from. I tried the grilled veggie tacos (my favorite), veggie burrito, soy chorizo sopes, and a pineapple tamale, and everything was delicious. Be sure to order the burrito and sopes without sour cream and cheese—they also offer vegan cheese for an additional cost. I especially appreciate that they offer both soy-based options and vegetables that are actually flavorful—not the sad zucchini and squash I’ve had at other restaurants. The grilled vegetables in particular were so good. I placed my order for delivery and I also appreciate that they placed plenty of salsa in the bag for me. Most of the staff mainly speak Spanish, so there’s a slight language barrier, but they’re incredibly sweet and always make sure the order is right. “An authentic gem in the middle of Lombard. Food was fresh and had a good taste. I had a Gordita de chicharrón which was delicious. I also had taco de tripas and I asked for it to be well done. The taco came out crujiente which a lot of places gets this wrong so this was a breath of fresh air. The provided salsas were not spicy but did have a kick and had a good taste. The staff was extremely welcoming overall; great small place. We will be returning to dine here.“
