Unexpectedly stopped in on Sunday and they had Mariachi! Such a good surprise! The food was delicious, my favorite where the tacos enchilados I belive they were called. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant is very aesthetic and clean. We will definitely be coming back.

My friend and I visited recently to celebrate her birthday, and we had a good experience. Our waiter was great and provided excellent service.
During our meal, we enjoyed the shrimp empanadas, camarones a la diabla, langostinos zarandeados, a guava margarita, and a guava mocktail. Everything had delicious flavor and we will definitely be back to try other items on the menu. While we enjoyed our visit, the volume of the live DJ music made it difficult for us to converse comfortably.

Puerto Nuevo in Villa Park is a wonderful addition to the local dining scene. The restaurant is very aesthetic and clean, with an amazing atmosphere and good music. Guests have enjoyed a variety of dishes, including tacos enchilados, shrimp empanadas, camarones a la diabla, langostinos zarandeados, Aguachiles verdes, Al Mojo de Ajo, Pasta del Puerto, Taco Tinga, sizzling chicken and shrimp fajitas, and pescado zarandeado. The Al Mojo de Ajo was packed with rich garlic-and-butter flavor, while the Pasta del Puerto was rich, flavorful, and absolutely satisfying. The shrimp pasta was delicious with so much shrimp. Drinks like the guava margarita, guava mocktail, and casuelitas were well mixed and refreshing. The staff was very friendly and attentive, providing excellent and exceptional service. One visit included a Mariachi surprise, and another featured live DJ music, though the volume made it difficult to converse comfortably. Everything tasted fresh and was beautifully presented. Overall, Puerto Nuevo offers a great combination of Mexican flavors and fresh seafood. Highly recommended, and guests will definitely be returning.
