10/10 best enchiladas ever
Great authentic food reasonably priced.
An authentic gem in the middle of Lombard. Food was fresh and had a good taste. I had a Gordita de chicharrón which was delicious. I also had taco de tripas and I asked for it to be well done. The taco came out crujiente which a lot of places gets this wrong so this was a breath of fresh air. The provided salsas were not spicy but did have a kick and had a good taste. The staff was extremely welcoming overall; great small place. We will be returning to dine here.

Taqueria Mexico 2000 Lombard is an authentic gem in the middle of Lombard. The food is fresh and has a good taste. The Gordita de chicharrón is delicious, and the taco de tripas comes out crujiente when asked for well done. The provided salsas are not spicy but have a kick and a good taste. The staff is extremely welcoming overall at this great small place. Customers return with family for the enchiladas, which are still amazing. The rice, tamales, chile rellenos, and steak tacos are amazing too, and the guacamole is the best, made to order. The food is delicious, and the service is amazing as well as the prices. The enchiladas lunch special is very good and only $9.00. All of the salsas are very very good. The waitress is kind and attentive, making customers feel treated as if they were family. The place is also clean and the staff friendly, with lots of vegetarian options. The masa de los sopes y las gorditas está perfecta. The restaurant has a nice small intimate dining space and is also perfect for carry out. The quesadilla really stands out, with lettuce, cheese, and asada for the filling, and the tortilla is the standout favorite. The al pastor taco is really good, and the green tamale is a great add on with nice masa and filling, steamed well. Every taco tried on Taco Tuesday was better than the last, authentic and delicious, and the server was sweet and kind and attentive. Great spicy house salsas and good prices. The tacos are tasty, the corn tortillas are warmed in just a bit of oil so they’re actually soft, the creamy green salsa is amazing, and the staff is friendly and kind.
