“Terrace Cantina is hands-down our favorite Mexican restaurant, and it has been for years. It’s one of those truly underrated gems that makes you wonder how more people don’t know about it—especially when it’s so much better than any chain restaurant around.

The food is consistently excellent—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Every dish feels like comfort food you crave and something special at the same time. The ambiance is relaxed and welcoming, perfect whether you’re out for a casual dinner or celebrating something.

What really sets Terrace Cantina apart, though, are the people. The owners are wonderful, the servers are attentive and kind, and you genuinely feel appreciated every time you walk in. Even our toddler loves it here and begs to go after daycare—which says a lot. They’re patient, friendly, and make dining with a little one feel easy and enjoyable.

“Steak tostada salty. Guacamole fresh and flavorful the best in West Cook county! Tortilla chips homemade and crispy. Rice good flavor. Beans salty but smooth. Orchata good too. Tvs, beer, happy hour Fridays and Saturdays 5 to 9:00 p.m. Booths only.“

“Mediocre chipotle location. It's a hit or miss. Sometimes the worker doesnt know how to use the promo buy 1 get 1 free when you buy a gift card.
When placing online order they often forget the vinegarette for the salads.

Their specialty tacos (lamb/cheese) was the best. Self serve Salsa Bar with many flavor choices is truly unique. You will not regret giving Crazy Tortas a taste test for yourself!“

“Had the Steak Burrito. The presentation, size and taste were what I expected. They had the good hot type / red sauce which some other places don't have. However it seemed as if the lettuce and tomato overpowered the steak/ beans & cheese? Not quite sure but something was off with the lettuce ? It did seem to be the typical shredded lettuce I've had in other burrito's?“

The food and drinks were absolutely delicious and incredibly fresh—seriously, even the water tasted super refreshing, which is a rarity!

I decided to try the marlin ceviche, and it was a game-changer. The marlin was perfectly marinated, bursting with flavor, and the presentation was beautiful. For my main dish, I ordered the huevos rancheros, and it did not disappoint! The eggs were cooked to perfection, complemented by a rich and savory sauce that tied everything together. Both dishes were so good that I found myself savoring every bite.

“Excellent and authentic Mexican food. The salsa is ridiculously good, the chicken tortilla soup is amazing, the al pastor tacos are delicious, and the skirt steak is perfectly seasoned and grilled. Oh, and don't forget the margaritas! Staff is lovely and service is great! This continues to be our favorite Mexican restaurant in the Western suburbs!“

“Everything was great. From the food to the service and even the prices. My husband and I went for Valentines day. We got the V-Day which was a birria pizza n desert for $25. My husband had the ground beef enchilada dinner. We both had a passion fruit margarita. The birria pizza was cooked to perfection. The meat was seasoned, tender, and tasty. The consome was 10 out of 10. My husband said every in the enchiladas dinner was good. The owner and his wife are very friendly. The wife took the order and had a wonderful conversation with us. “Taco Maya is so good! If you've never been here, you have to go! There are a lot of tacos of different types here. One that I highly recommend for anyone to try is the Paneer taco! I ordered one to try and immediately regretted not getting more. The quesabirria is excellent! Try the coffee, too! You will be pleasantly surprised. The staff is very kind!“

F’bombs about politics and covering shifts made for an unpleasant atmosphere. The lack of maintaining a professional environment or even a family friendly environment was lost today.
