I was not having a good day but tried my best to not show it. As I'm eating I saw a man come in. Eat by himself and then left. My surprise when I went to go pay. This man had paid for my food. Who ever it was Thank you so much if this is ever read. That was a beautiful gesture and completely made my day. I got my son his haircut and took him for some ice cream afterwards. “Me and the wife had dinner her for our anniversary. Nice atmosphere. Nice Latin music to match. Brussel sprout appetizer was superb. I had a wood fired ribeye steak. It was good but I had to say I was expecting it to be better. My wife had the Pescado(fish fillet) and she said it was good as well. I don’t trust my wife much when it comes to fancy food cuz she’s a picky eater and is more a burger, pork chop or fish fry kind of gal. Overall it was a very nice dinner for both of us and wouldn’t mind coming here again.“

“DELICIOUS! The best chilaquiles in Chicago without a doubt. I'm from CDMX and they are the only ones who know Mexico. The sauce is spicy, the cream is liquid, the jerky melts in your mouth, all very greasy just like in the city haha.
If you miss Mexico or have never been and want to know what good chilaquiles taste like, this is the right place.

Horchata was average but not terrible. & my elote was simple and delicious. It brought back memories for me. Only opportunity is that there's random junk in certain areas of the hall that are visible to the guess.. maybe clean those corners to make it more presentable. Beans and rice should be included with the meal, but that’s par for the course of these days. I also wish they were a little more attentive. You bring me my food I shouldn’t have to ask for cutlery.“

“Absolutely delicious! We ordered delivery from New Era. Food arrived quick and HOT! I ordered the Steak Huarache, my partner ordered a chicken quesadilla. He said it was the BEST quesadilla he’s ever had. Homemade tortillas, melty cheese, seasoned chicken - YUM! I had honestly never heard of a huarache until this restaurant opened. I had to try it - it was phenomenal! So delicious and full of flavor! Their red and green salsa is amazing! Definitely will order again and look forward to visiting in person!“

“Tacos Los Sombreros is a hole in the wall joint serving halal Mexican food. The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous. I liked everything I have tried here...quesadillas, fajitas, tacos, burritos. The birria is succulent and the loaded nachos were a hit with the kiddos. Restaurant is small and the service a little slow, but the food is worth it.
