“Had 3 carnitas bravas tacos. They were super good. Tortillas are home made, yeah they're not the cheapest tacos but honestly the price of the tacos is worth the portion that you get. Tacos are bigger than what you would get at other places, you're paying 6 bucks but it's basically the same size as 2 tacos.“
“The staff could’ve been a little more welcoming/friendly.. but they got everything done in a timely manner with no issues.The food was really good, the meat could’ve used a bit more flavor/seasoning but adding a little salsa fixed that.Their salsa is spicy, but full of flavor.The prices are really good in comparison to a lot of places.. and they don’t cut you short on meat.I would definitely come back if I’m in the area. “It's been a while since I had some decent menudo. The fact they have it from Thursday to Sunday was favorable. The menudo was heart and wasn't just stuffed with hominy. The flavor could've been a little more bold, but one of the best I've had in a very long time. The staff's friendly and super attentive.“

“The food here at least for the carnitas, are hands down the best, i live near the ORD airport and used to drive down all the way down to the southside for some good carnitas. Thank goodness, I no longer have to since finding this gem of a restaurant. Another indication that this place is great is because it always has customers, never empty. Oh, and their champurado is da bomb! I haven't tried other stuff on their menu like tacos, flautas, etc. But I can vouch for the carnitas. staff is also friendly and very clean.“
