“Everything was great. From the food to the service and even the prices. My husband and I went for Valentines day. We got the V-Day which was a birria pizza n desert for $25. My husband had the ground beef enchilada dinner. We both had a passion fruit margarita. The birria pizza was cooked to perfection. The meat was seasoned, tender, and tasty. The consome was 10 out of 10. My husband said every in the enchiladas dinner was good. The owner and his wife are very friendly. The wife took the order and had a wonderful conversation with us. Food didn't take long to prepare. Great experience will be back soon.“

El día de hoy, martes 26 de noviembre, llegué a cenar a las 8:45 pm confiando en la información publicada en sus redes sociales, donde claramente se especifica que el horario de cierre es a las 11:00 pm. No obstante, a las 9:30 pm ya se estaba anunciando el "último llamado" para bebidas alcohólicas. Además, durante mi estancia, fui testigo de cómo dos familias fueron rechazadas para cenar por el mismo motivo: el restaurante estaba cerrando antes de tiempo debido a "la falta de clientes". Entiendo que puedan surgir situaciones operativas, pero considero que este tipo de decisiones impacta negativamente en la experiencia de sus clientes. Cuando se anuncia un horario de cierre, los clientes planeamos nuestras visitas en base a esa información. De no ser posible mantener el horario anunciado, sería más transparente ajustarlo oficialmente en sus plataformas para que las personas puedan planear con anticipación y, en caso necesario, optar por otras opciones. Por último, quiero mencionar que esta inconformidad fue compartida con nuestra mesera, quien nos escuchó con amabilidad. Sin embargo, creo que esta situación requiere un ajuste desde la gerencia para evitar malentendidos en el futuro. It looks small from the outside, but it’s enormous in flavor! It’s a very cute and nicely decorated place. Staff is incredibly nice and helpful. But the food… it rocks! We ordered the Orden de Quesobirria and a Carne en su Jugo and a Agua de Jamaica (hibiscus water) and a Horchata (rice water). The Carne stew was delicious! So many levels of flavors. It looks like a mom & pop tamale place, which it kind of is, but Danny and Johanna have fine dining experience, which shows up in the quality and presentation of the food and the friendliness of the staff. We've tried most of the menu, but we almost always get whatever the special tamale and special quesadilla are. We always feel welcome. We always feel well-fed. We always leave happy, no matter what mood we were in when we walked in the door. It's one of the best places we eat, regardless of the price point.“

“I recommend getting the #7 Rajas Poblanas con Pollo torta. I am no torta connoisseur, but it was like no torta I’ve had before. Whereas most tortas are tasty sandwiches, this one was more like a tasty meal. The portion sizes are ample and I left feeling stuffed after only eating 1 torta with fries.“

“Last week I was on my way to take my son for a haircut and decided to stop and eat here. It was my first time. Service was great and food delicious. I was not having a good day but tried my best to not show it. As I'm eating I saw a man come in. Eat by himself and then left. My surprise when I went to go pay. This man had paid for my food. Who ever it was Thank you so much if this is ever read. That was a beautiful gesture and completely made my day. I got my son his haircut and took him for some ice cream afterwards.
