Visited early in the morning, grabbed tacos mixed (shredded fried pork and soft skin) fresh made, the green salsa is very good made just right, and with handmade tortillas. Accompanied by a champurrado (hot abuelita chocolate flavored with some cinnamon). This location is not as packed as the others.
Best carnitas in the Chicagoland area. Period. I've tried all the rest, trust me. Their salsas make all the difference. I usually take out tho, place is a madhouse, always busy. Expect a tough time getting a table.

Yes it’s next to a gas station, but it’s incredible. I eat a lot of carnitas around here and this has to be one of the best, tied with carnitas don pedro for me. It’s got a great menu, but the carnitas are the star of the show. I highly recommend getting the house made tortillas too.
