Oh, and don't forget the margaritas! Staff is lovely and service is great! This continues to be our favorite Mexican restaurant in the Western suburbs!“

The chips were warm, crispy, and paired perfectly with the creamy queso, fresh salsa, and homemade guacamole. You can tell everything is made with quality ingredients.

And the margarita? Easily one of the best I’ve had! Perfectly chilled, refreshing, with just the right balance of citrus and tequila—not too sweet and incredibly smooth. It was the perfect complement to the meal.

“Absolutely delicious. Quality ingredients, attentive service, and a really nice variety in the menu. When I went, there were people there from Indiana who specifically traveled to Chicago to try this restaurant. And it’s a good deal for the money too! The torta was really filling.“

It can be pricey to some, but worth it and they do different deals on different nights so it’s worth checking them out. If this venue was in the #Pilsen area, you would def need a month or two reservations. The chef is #Michelin rated – say no more. Highly recommended. “Yesterday was my first time visiting this location, and overall I had a really good experience 😊 The food was super delicious and full of flavor, and the portions were very generous - definitely more than enough to feel satisfied 🍽️👌 I’ll absolutely be coming back again!

One small thing that could be improved is clearer signage. There wasn’t anything indicating that you can seat yourself, so I assumed I needed to order at the counter and wait for a number 🤔 Turns out I was completely wrong, and for a moment I thought I was about to get scolded 😅 The lady at the counter helped fix my order and guided me, and then I was able to sit down.

Sin embargo, en mi última visita, experimenté una situación que considero importante señalar para su atención y mejora. El día de hoy, martes 26 de noviembre, llegué a cenar a las 8:45 pm confiando en la información publicada en sus redes sociales, donde claramente se especifica que el horario de cierre es a las 11:00 pm. No obstante, a las 9:30 pm ya se estaba anunciando el "último llamado" para bebidas alcohólicas. Además, durante mi estancia, fui testigo de cómo dos familias fueron rechazadas para cenar por el mismo motivo: el restaurante estaba cerrando antes de tiempo debido a "la falta de clientes". Entiendo que puedan surgir situaciones operativas, pero considero que este tipo de decisiones impacta negativamente en la experiencia de sus clientes. Cuando se anuncia un horario de cierre, los clientes planeamos nuestras visitas en base a esa información. De no ser posible mantener el horario anunciado, sería más transparente ajustarlo oficialmente en sus plataformas para que las personas puedan planear con anticipación y, en caso necesario, optar por otras opciones. Por último, quiero mencionar que esta inconformidad fue compartida con nuestra mesera, quien nos escuchó con amabilidad. Sin embargo, creo que esta situación requiere un ajuste desde la gerencia para evitar malentendidos en el futuro. Agradezco de antemano su atención a esta situación y espero que se tomen las medidas necesarias para garantizar que su excelente servicio sea consistente en todos los aspectos. “Oooooorale’! We found another hidden gem! (Well not really hidden, lol) este restaurante está riquísimo! For all of you non-Spanish speakers, this place is delicious! It looks small from the outside, but it’s enormous in flavor! It’s a very cute and nicely decorated place. Staff is incredibly nice and helpful. But the food… it rocks! We ordered the Orden de Quesobirria and a Carne en su Jugo and a Agua de Jamaica (hibiscus water) and a Horchata (rice water). The Carne stew was delicious! So many levels of flavors. The birria was fantastic! Levels and levels of flavor. Will definitely be back for the Menudo this weekend. See you all here!“

“Great pupusas had a Chicharron and Frijol great flavor and some great homemade sauces from mild to hot, highly recommend. There is also other options such as Tacos and Puputacos which is the Signature plate, which I need to come back to try. Didn't have to wait long and was served some tortilla chips while I waited which were great to try out some of the sauces. There is seat spacing for about 15-20 people. The Horchata drink was superb!!!“

“Small mom and pop taco spot with great food. Place is cash only i repeat cash only so dont forget your money. We had the Ribeye tacos very delicious and tender meat was well done, they also put grilled onions and peppers which adds more flavor to the 🌮. Be aware the peppers 🌶 are a bit spicy so eating them with their salsa might be too much spice for some people. I would do either or but you feeling adventurous try it with both. Pastor tacos were very flavorful comes with onion and cilantro. Asada tacos were rich in flavor well seasoned and not dry. These are hardy tacos 🌮 average person will get full with 2-3 tacos. Tortillas are oiled nicely and cooked well they hold their shape while eating after lime and salsa have been added doesn't get soggy or break apart. Over all great spot 9/10 👌 will eat here again. It is a small place so if it gets busy seating might be an issue they have 3 tables outside and a bit of counter seating inside.“

Absolutely some of the best food I've eaten (try the chicken tinga quesadilla!), reasonable and affordable prices, great service and warm atmosphere. “We drove all the way from downtown just to get tacos from Aztlan Taqueria and it was 100% worth it. The steak tacos are some of the best we’ve ever had. The meat was perfectly seasoned, tender, and packed with flavor. Both the flour and corn tortillas tasted incredibly fresh, like they were just made. The salsa was delicious and clearly homemade bright, flavorful, and the perfect complement to the tacos. And the guacamole? Absolutely perfect. No extra salt needed just fresh, balanced, and spot-on. On top of the amazing food, the staff is so nice and truly goes above and beyond. The service made the experience even better. Hands down, some of the best tacos around. We’ll gladly make the drive again! 🌮“

“This mexican food is incredible. I have ordered takeout a few times and recently I got catering for my birthday party. It’s so good no one even realized its vegetarian. I ordered the Xochimilco tacos.

Some of my other favorites are the al pastor tacos and the huitlacoche quesadillas.“

“I recommend getting the #7 Rajas Poblanas con Pollo torta. I am no torta connoisseur, but it was like no torta I’ve had before. Whereas most tortas are tasty sandwiches, this one was more like a tasty meal. The portion sizes are ample and I left feeling stuffed after only eating 1 torta with fries.“
