In the conversation of best steak tacos in the city. Good sized (not the super tiny ones). Service is fast. Good, fresh food. No frills, not like a fancy sit down place. Order your tacos and they being them to your table.

Taqueria La Zacatecana is a great place with warm service and delicious food at awesome prices. The restaurant has a simple interior, but the food speaks for itself. Guests can enjoy well-sized burritos, juicy meat, and the best chile rellenos. The steak burritos are especially popular, praised as some of the tastiest ever, with well-seasoned, perfectly cooked steak and balanced salsas. The atmosphere offers that classic taqueria vibe, with music playing at the right volume, and the kitchen visible behind the counter where tacos are made. Besides tacos, they serve Horchata and Jamaica drinks. Vegetarian options like chile relleno and vegetarian burritos are also available. The place is highly recommended for quick service and great flavors, making it a favorite spot in Avondale. Unfortunately, it is not wheelchair accessible.
