I've been going here for years and this place never disappoints. The food is always on point. It's hard for me to find sweet potato tempura but look no further. The flakey crab ragoon tops any other. It's ruined crab ragoon for me anywhere else. The chicken pad thai is delicious and when adding their hot sauce, it's perfect! So many varieties of rolls, you'll definitely find a favorite. I've been coming to Jaiyen for years. One of the first resturants I went to since moving into the neighborhood and its never left my rotation. Outstanding service and food for great prices. Truly a gem for Avondale's great food scene.
The service was great and the food was good. I got the gyoza and drunken noodles and the gyoza was really crispy and the inside was very flavorful. The reason they get 4 stars and not 5 is because drunken noodles are typically spicy and they weren't spicy at all. The flavors were great but they really need to crank up the spice but I still recommend this place.
