I had a volcano roll which was a seasonal special and it was amazing, I wish it was offered year round. It is an avocado roll topped with spicy “crab” (hearts of palm) and crunchy sweet potatoes shreds. I also had the watermelon nigiri which is a staple on the menu.“

The servers definitely seemed tired as well, but also felt like they went out of their way to not pay us any attention when we were waiting for a seat. We ordered through the app and the split share did not seem to work for people who join the check after items were already added.

The unagi donburi, Chicago dragon roll, and plum wine are my recommendation for eel lovers and sweet drink enjoyers. The food was definitely tasty but if I wasn’t stranded at ORD, I don’t know if you’d ever find me buying miso soup for $8 anywhere else.“

The omakase table can only serve 8 people max at a time. So each chef serves 4 people. The best from the menu we had are scallop and uni. “I called ahead on a Tuesday for their dinner reservations, we were told they weren't busy that night so we went ahead and made the one hour drive just for their sushi and their great reviews. We had the best experience and their sushi was truly top notch. We basically ordered everything on the menu from sushi, caviar to desserts and drinks. they did not disappoint, customer service was superb. The owner even came outside to attend us, he showed up with his own bottle of sake. I truly appreciate the great experience we had at this beautiful and clean restaurant.
