“This BYOB sushi spot is awesome, very modest, super fast service with affordable prices for all the artists out here! The sushi has more filling than just a ton of rice packed around it & the miso soup is stellar. They provide complimentary cucumber water which is super refreshing in the summertime. I came here during prime time Saturday evening and it was VERY chill. If you’re in Bridgeport I highly recommend! I love supporting businesses that value both good food & good service. I will be back for sure!“

“The restaurant atmosphere is really good with the music. The sushi was great and I recommend the Mango pomo sogo it's really good. Come here a lot on my free time and the food comes kinda fast. The server was great at his job and impressive to watch and all the staff were really nice. Highly recommend this place as it's a very good restaurant and they only have their selves as this is a family owned restaurant (I think)“

“Delicious food! The service was very good and the space was welcoming, clean and comfortable. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. Very tasty sweet and sour stir fry and fresh spring roll. Would recommend 10/10 and will come again to try the pho and other dishes in the menu. Thank you for the hospitality.“

“On 4/1/2026 i visited Sakura, i quickly found out it is a HIDDEN GEM! I had the hibachi combnation noodles and for $17.89 you get A MEAL they cooked the steak,chicken and shrimp to perfection! Full of zuccini, carrots mushrooms and seasoned& sauced perfectly. They just got themselves a lifetime customer!!!“

“I tried their food for the first time a few weeks ago and I've been HOOKED ever since that day!!! Their food was so good, I had to have them a second and third day in a row... It's SO SO GOOD! “This was our first time visiting, and my friend and I were looking for a quick bite after a stressful week. The restaurant had a great atmosphere, and the staff were really helpful. We asked for recommendations, and they offered several options. We went with their suggestions, and everything we tried was delicious! Some of the dishes were new to us, and I genuinely enjoyed everything. We had fun, and the food and drinks made for a really satisfying visit.“

“Stopped in today for lunch, had a sushi roll and the Kinya Ramen Bowl. Both were excellent, would definitely recommend. Was a bit confused on the exterior as this restaurant is also still operating as a Hook and Reel seafood. Excited to not have to go to the city for good ramen!“

“On Thursday, 5/30, my wife and I had dinner at the restaurant. Our favorite server, Rita, was assisting us. During our meal, we witnessed a front desk employee yelling at Rita and slamming his hands on the table, causing a significant disturbance that was noticeable to many patrons. Despite this unprofessional behavior, Rita maintained her composure and continued to provide exceptional service. Her professionalism and dedication to her customers were commendable. We will definitely return, thanks to Rita's outstanding service.“
