Each piece had its own explanation, and there was give-and-take with the chef as he prepared each course. “I went here solo on a Thursday night. This is the absolute best sushi I ever had. Chef Otto is a sushi genius and the omakase experience proves. The highest quality fish I've had. Everything was on point. Sushi is very creative and not the nigiri you're used to. The experience is enhanced when you interact with Chef Otto. It was quiet at first but once you start chatting and getting to know Chef the dinner experience become even better. Make sure you ask him how he got into sushi and the story about Carlos Santana restaurant. It's only one turn of 8 total dinners so even though you may make reservations for 6:30 or 7, dinner only starts when everyone is there, I was able to get to know the other guests and I would encourage you to talk to your fellow dinners. It's about 2 hrs long and worth every penny. I plan on coming back every few months.“

“Alexis was our omakase chef and he was amazing! The food itself was really great and fresh with unique toppings- specifically the king salmon, sweet shrimp, and otoro. Alexis was also super friendly and provided us with an extra piece of sushi (because it was our first time trying uno and I wasn’t the biggest fan) to make up for it! 10/10 on all fronts“

We went back for the first time in years a few weeks ago and were absolutely delighted by everything. The California roll and salad complete the meal perfectly. I also ordered the Truffle Yuzu Salmon, which had a beautiful balance of citrus and truffle flavor. “Best Sushi Restaurant on the planet. Not only was all the food superior than any other Sushi restaurant I've been to. My family and I had a feast.(I mean all the food was good). Very reasonable prices as well. The most astonishing fact about this restaurant was the host (Quam) his amazing knowledge of food and customer service was unlike any other. The Ice cream desert was mind blowing. You don't have to take my word for it, but I guarantee you, you won't find another Sushi restaurant in the city of Chicago as good this one. The ambiance of this establishment is very warm and pleasant. I highly recommend this place for family gatherings, and with people you want to share a special food feast with. “We ordered Bulgogi Kimbop, Crab Cream Cheese Roll, Teriyaki Salmon Roll, and Famous Fried Chicken with honey garlic sauce. Everything was very fresh and tasty. The bulgogi kimbop had a generous amount of fillings but I could have used more of whatever delicious sauce was on it. My kids (age 2 and 3) devoured the crab cream cheese roll and the salmon teriyaki roll was slightly sweet and smoky and delicious. The boneless chicken was great. It was so crunchy and perfectly cooked and drenched in the his sticky honey garlic sauce that I was licking out of the package. The man who was running the restaurant (and cooking and ringing up orders, one man show!) was really nice and super kind! The restaurant didn’t have too many tables but the ambiance and decor was super cute and it was not loud inside. I will be back when I’m in town next.“

My fiancé ordered the shrimp in a blanket and they were perfectly crispy and packed with flavor. I had the ramen both times and it was absolutely delicious. My fiancé tried the pad thai with shrimp on one visit and the basil shrimp fried rice on another, and both dishes were full of flavor and so satisfying. “I've been going here for years and this place never disappoints. The food is always on point. It's hard for me to find sweet potato tempura but look no further. The flakey crab ragoon tops any other. It's ruined crab ragoon for me anywhere else. The chicken pad thai is delicious and when adding their hot sauce, it's perfect! So many varieties of rolls, you'll definitely find a favorite. Their presentation is always so eye pleasing. If it's your birthday, they have the cutest and delicious mochi ice cream. The staff is always so kind, attentive, and service with a big smile. This is a place I like to show off to other people and It's always a positive feedback.“
