All were really really great but Kyoten Next Door was phenomenal. I not only left full (rarity for me 🫄🏻) but each course was unexplainably good and chef Jorge was funny, kind, and knowledgeable!

Definitely worth the money for the service and food you get. Finding the location was iffy at first because there’s no signs or anything and it looks like it’s abandoned but once you get in it’s super super nice and cozy.

We went back for the first time in years a few weeks ago and were absolutely delighted by everything. “This place deserves 10 stars! The Sushi Sashimi Bento at Neta Sushi is fantastic with chef’s choice sushi and sashimi that melts in your mouth. The California roll and salad complete the meal perfectly. I also ordered the Truffle Yuzu Salmon, which had a beautiful balance of citrus and truffle flavor. The Wasabi Tuna roll with shrimp tempura and spicy tuna was bold and delicious. Amazing sushi spot in Park Ridge!“

Very reasonable prices as well. The most astonishing fact about this restaurant was the host (Quam) his amazing knowledge of food and customer service was unlike any other. Both specials we chose also included a rich miso soup. The tempura batter was perfection, crispy and light but not greasy. Everything was presented in a way that was pleasing to the eye. I really wanted to have Japanese food (specifically Onigiri) for a Studio Ghibli-themed baby shower, and reached out to several local restaurants. Ekiben was by far the most responsive and fairly priced!

“I dined at Neko Sushi and tried their tuna and avocado fried rolls, and they are the reason I’ve already been back three times in the past two weeks since finding this neighborhood gem. My fiancé ordered the shrimp in a blanket and they were perfectly crispy and packed with flavor. I had the ramen both times and it was absolutely delicious. My fiancé tried the pad thai with shrimp on one visit and the basil shrimp fried rice on another, and both dishes were full of flavor and so satisfying. Neko Sushi has quickly become one of our favorites. Everything we’ve tried has been consistently fresh and tasty. Oh and they are BYOB!“

“Walked into the establishment during a weekday whilst the lunch special ($24.99 AYCE Sushi!) and was greeted as seated fast. Staff was accommodating to our requests and service was very timely. Stuck with the nigiri for most of our stay and it was very enjoyable, (smoked salmon was the table favorite). Good area to be around and the restaurant was clean, no complaints. Recommend this for a quick meal and very cheap!“
