“This place truly lives up to its name with flavors and craftsmanship that match its reputation.

I recently discovered an incredibly amazing sushi spot. It is easily one of the best I’ve ever been to. Everything is unbelievably fresh and full of flavor, and the sauces are absolutely amazing.

The staff is very friendly, and Justin, the owner, gave perfect menu recommendations. His culinary skill genuinely impressed me, and I can confidently say that from now on, this is the only place where I’ll be eating sushi.

I highly recommend the Angry Tuna Roll, Liger Roll, and Poke Nacho. Every single one was outstanding.

This Vietnamese restaurant offers Japanese dishes too. We always enjoy their wide varieties of food; the servers are always friendly and food served just on time. The quality and the quantity of the food was always reasonable to the price.

I highly recommend trying their sweet potato tempura, egg roll and bbq pork spring rolls.
Their smoothies are delicious too and I believe they use real fruits.“

From the moment we walked in, Chelsea greeted us with so much enthusiasm and made us feel right at home. Chef Poam was incredibly friendly and amazing at his craft. He explained every course so thoroughly and described each bite perfectly. You could really tell how much care went into everything.

Melissa, the bartender, was also so friendly and joyful! Her drinks were amazing - we had the “Tokyo Nights” and loved it.

“I went here solo on a Thursday night. This is the absolute best sushi I ever had. Chef Otto is a sushi genius and the omakase experience proves. The highest quality fish I've had. Everything was on point. Sushi is very creative and not the nigiri you're used to. The experience is enhanced when you interact with Chef Otto. It was quiet at first but once you start chatting and getting to know Chef the dinner experience become even better. Make sure you ask him how he got into sushi and the story about Carlos Santana restaurant. It's only one turn of 8 total dinners so even though you may make reservations for 6:30 or 7, dinner only starts when everyone is there, I was able to get to know the other guests and I would encourage you to talk to your fellow dinners. It's about 2 hrs long and worth every penny. I plan on coming back every few months.“

The katsudon was a generous bowl of chicken, rice, and soft egg—filling enough that I ended up taking some home. It’s a good choice if you’re looking for a substantial meal rather than a quick snack.

The onigiri were particularly good. Made to order, with fresh rice and generous fillings, they felt like something worth visiting for in their own right. The portions are larger than you might expect, so ordering a few to try would make a satisfying meal on its own. Alongside the katsudon, I had more than enough food.

The visit was easy from start to finish. I got a table immediately, and my order arrived in about ten minutes or less. It’s a casual place that works well for a quick lunch or an unhurried meal, and the portions make it good value.

I’d recommend trying both the katsudon and the onigiri on a first visit. I’d happily order the same again, but there’s enough on the menu to tempt me into trying something different. Will be back for sure.“

“We ordered Bulgogi Kimbop, Crab Cream Cheese Roll, Teriyaki Salmon Roll, and Famous Fried Chicken with honey garlic sauce. Everything was very fresh and tasty. The bulgogi kimbop had a generous amount of fillings but I could have used more of whatever delicious sauce was on it. My kids (age 2 and 3) devoured the crab cream cheese roll and the salmon teriyaki roll was slightly sweet and smoky and delicious. The boneless chicken was great. It was so crunchy and perfectly cooked and drenched in the his sticky honey garlic sauce that I was licking out of the package. The man who was running the restaurant (and cooking and ringing up orders, one man show!) was really nice and super kind! The restaurant didn’t have too many tables but the ambiance and decor was super cute and it was not loud inside. I will be back when I’m in town next.“

“We stumbled upon this place purely by just looking at what was around us as we were just visiting Chicago. This place blew every other meal we had out of the water. Reservations were flexible and we got right in with a beautiful view of the street. The place was lively and welcoming all kinds of tables that were all enjoying each others company. We were celebrating our Anniversary and Libby took great care of us. We split the bread, the Mag Mile roll, the Lake Superior White Fish and a Chocolate dessert. Everything was delicious, the roll so much we had to order another! It was such a wonderful meal and the sushi roll alone will have me coming back anytime we’re back in Chicago! “I called ahead on a Tuesday for their dinner reservations, we were told they weren't busy that night so we went ahead and made the one hour drive just for their sushi and their great reviews. We had the best experience and their sushi was truly top notch. We basically ordered everything on the menu from sushi, caviar to desserts and drinks. they did not disappoint, customer service was superb. The owner even came outside to attend us, he showed up with his own bottle of sake. I truly appreciate the great experience we had at this beautiful and clean restaurant. “I dined at Neko Sushi and tried their tuna and avocado fried rolls, and they are the reason I’ve already been back three times in the past two weeks since finding this neighborhood gem. My fiancé ordered the shrimp in a blanket and they were perfectly crispy and packed with flavor. I had the ramen both times and it was absolutely delicious. My fiancé tried the pad thai with shrimp on one visit and the basil shrimp fried rice on another, and both dishes were full of flavor and so satisfying. Neko Sushi has quickly become one of our favorites. Everything we’ve tried has been consistently fresh and tasty. Oh and they are BYOB!“
