Indie Cafe Sushi Thai Reviews
Over the years, Indie Cafe has been amazingly kind and thoughtful in their service, and their food preparations and presentations always go above and beyond all of my expectations.
From quadruple-checking whether or not a menu item is gluten-free, to recommending the best wine/sake pairings for an entrée, their staff have always ensured that I've left their restaurant knowing that I was appreciated as a customer. And welcomed as a friend.
Maya is hands-down one...read full review
Discriminates against single mothers and children.
Will give you a high chair when asked but then once your child is making happy baby sounds they ask you to move, even in a off/not busy time.
If you aren’t baby friendly state that. Be upfront and honest about it so no one else has to go through what I went through today. Straight abuse, sending me into fight or flight! I was just trying to get a meal that I was more than willing to pay for.. Already too exhausted...read full review

Indie Cafe Sushi Thai is a neighborhood gem that feels both effortlessly cool and deeply comforting. The atmosphere is warm, simple, and chic, with a cozy ambiance filled with art that makes the space feel like a curated gallery. The owners, two incredibly sweet and welcoming women, make guests feel like regulars even on the first visit. The staff is friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, with one server named Maya being extremely friendly and helpful with allergies.
The food is outstanding, with fresh sushi and warm Thai spices. The Salmon Almond roll was good light sushi, though it did not look like the picture. The Drunken Noodles, pad see ew, and sushi rolls are all delicious. Desserts like the mango sorbet with passion fruit and the custard with sticky rice are also delicious. The drinks are great, with a decent wine and cocktail list. The menu has plenty of options for vegetarians. Indie Cafe mends Japanese and Thai for a fantastic meal. This place is the BEST authentic Thai and delicious sushi, with exquisite care put into every dish. It is a small business worth supporting.
