Did the full-on omakase, and it was a treat. The limited seating brings an air of simplicity and elegance to the dinner. Each piece had its own explanation, and there was give-and-take with the chef as he prepared each course. It was fun and entertaining, and I would absolutely bring my friends/family here the next time an opportunity arises.
This is the best meal I’ve ever had in my life. What a treat to experience this while in Chicago

The ambience is fantastic, with a limited number of guests per night ensuring a peaceful atmosphere. The sushi is delicious, fresh, and satisfying, making it a perfect spot for a special celebration. The quality of fish is unbelievable, and the amount of fish served per course is impressive. Everything is gluten free, which adds to the appeal. Chef Jorge is known for his friendly and calming vibe, making each course special, and many guests wish they could have all their meals with him. The staff is welcoming, attentive, and keeps guests comfortable, with water glasses filled and sake served quickly. Though the restaurant's front door has blinds and no sign, it can be hard to find at first. Some guests noted that while the experience was enjoyable, there were minor issues, such as the trimming of fatty fish. Despite some disruptions from late arrivals, the overall experience remains peaceful and memorable, making it a worthwhile place for a special celebration or a calm, enjoyable meal.
