Trike Noodles (Three Wheels Noodles) is a great neighborhood family-owned business in Logan Square, near the California blue line stop. It is a little hole in the wall that could be walked by without being seen. The atmosphere is laid back, and the service is very friendly. Everything is on point, with every aspect of the dishes dialed in. The noodles have the ideal bite and texture, fried foods are crisped beautifully while keeping the meat juicy, and shrimp are done just right. Spice levels and flavor are great. The menu is classic with rice bowls and a few ramens (no sushi). Wings and papaya salad are favorites, not overly sweet. The Kha Soi and beef noodle soup are delish and not easily found elsewhere. Dishes like Pad Thai can be a delicious mistake, with the silkiest, smoothest tofu. The Tom Yum Thai Hot is deliciously spicy, and the Summer Roll is full of flavor. The Veggie Chow Fun is pure comfort food. Portions are generous and more than reasonable for the price. The restaurant does take reservations and offers take out. It is spot it BYOB but charges a cork fee.
