I like ramen. I think it's fine, but I've never ordered it anywhere because I just never crave it. Ever. But as someone who follows the local food scene closely, I have heard nothing but rave reviews about this spot. Like I mentioned before, I like the taste of ramen just fine. Hard to get a reservation in advance. Got a walk-in spot with a 90 min wait. There were multiple available tables for two at bar seating but they were probably short staffed.The seasonal shoyu was good. Salty, but there was depth. The thin ramen noodles were perfectly el dente. The miso ramen was salty and had complexity but not what you would expect from a miso broth. We came without reservations and arrived a few minutes before 5pm on Saturday. There was already a long line - we ended up getting on the waitlist and got in after an hour. While in line, we met the owner - very cool dude and you can tell he's very passionate about ramen. The food and service were both excellent - well worth the hype!
