The food was fantastic, really incredible how much flavor they got into the chicken. Everything was really well thought out and we really appreciated the chill date atmosphere!”

I'm not sure why ports are not listed under desert wines, and there are very limited options from New Zealand and absolutely no Petit Syrahs. “Peri Peri is definitely one of my favorite types of cuisines and the port of peri peri is by far the best! Anytime I visit the chicken is well marinated, flavorful and tender. I would highly recommend the chicken tender rice bowl since they are well portioned. Definitely check this place out as well as their other locations!”

What I mean by that is if older kids are full on running around playing tag knocking over food and drinks and tripping over wires and running through games while people are using them causing Chaos then staff and management need to step in. Staff should be walking the floor ensuring safety and helping when its needed. We like the location and 9 out 10 times we don't have issues.”

“I had Jipai Jianbing and it was delicious. The staff said that the one with raw pine was the best, but since I don't like raw pine, I ate it with jianbing and have no regrets. The jianbing is so big that you will be full even if you only eat half of it. Those who are not familiar with the spice may not like it, but those who are familiar with it may enjoy the nostalgic taste. The cream fries were also delicious. The fries were clean, but it felt like they were fried in clean oil. The Shojwabing was a little disappointing, but the Jianbing and cream fries were so delicious that I want to visit again the next time I go to Chicago!”

She got the lunch special, I got Tom Kha and Thai Iced Tea. Everything was delicious. My grandma isn't one to eat everything on her plate, but she ate the whole thing because "it's so good!" We got the seasonal mango sticky rice and it did not disappoint. If you're in the area, we highly recommend this hole in the wall!!

“Greetings my Foodzies, today I had a taste for fried chicken. We went to Bonchon Korean fried chicken at 5237 w Touhy Ave in Skokie. The restaurant was small but interesting, they had a street view on the wall which had an almost 3D affect. We were greeted warmly by Kevin and Siv, a couple awesome guys; friendly, personable and helpful. Basic table seating. We wanted to get a variety so we ordered some Korean street corn much like the Mexican street corn elotes only with a twist, some added chili flakes very tasty. Bulgogi fries (bulgogi meat over crispy fries with mozzarella scallions and an awesome spicy mayo) flavorful but the mayo was the highlight. We also had the Mix 2 drumsticks and 6 wings split between 2 sauces, Korean BBQ which was a little tangy and the Spicy sauce it had a hint of heat but for me could be a little spicier. The chicken is double fried (lightly breaded and fried then allowed to cool for a few minutes then fried again. This kept th chicken juicy and made the skin extra crispy. We also had the coleslaw which was crunchy and had the right amount of sauce. They did a unique thing, the plates were aluminum carry out trays so if you don’t finish your food, put a cover on it and you are good to go. I give this restaurant 5 stars because of it completeness everything from the employees to the cleanliness of the restaurant. I highly recommend this restaurant. “Following my experience with Ken's Diner & Grill, I discovered Sarah's Brick Oven listed within the 'People also viewed' section of its yelp page. Out of several other restaurants listed, Sarah's was the only one that captured my interest, plus it was a restaurant that I had not visited before in Skokie.

Sarah's Brick Oven itself is linked to Sarah's Tent, a market for kosher products that is located where Oakton St connects with N Crawford Ave in Skokie. And in spite of it being connected to Sarah's Tent, there is an acceptable number of parking spots available.

After entering and having plenty of time to look at the menu above the counter, and even on the laminated menu, I was acknowledged shortly after the customer ahead of me had finished ordering. I took an interest in the impossible burger after contemplating between the truffle mac & pizza, and the norma jean burger after I noticed that the impossible burger came with barbecue, onion rings, and served on a pretzel bun! And it was completed within a reasonable timeframe.

I opted out of dine-in, choosing to take my order to go because I had errands I needed to complete, plus I did not want to be in the area long. Moreover, the restaurant appeared clean, and the atmosphere gave off a very relaxed vibe. There were a number of tables with seats inside of the dining area, and I must say that I adored the interior, and the ceiling decoration which gave off sukkot vibes.

As for the food, other than my jaw popping because I had to open my mouth wide to take a bite of that stacked impossible burger, I enjoyed the satisfying taste of it once I had gotten settled in for the evening. It was delicious! And I most definitely recommend it if you are having trouble identifying something to try on the menu at Sarah's.

Being that I had a good experience, I would gladly re-visit Sarah's Brick Oven again whenever in the Skokie area. Or maybe I will just make a visit solely for it, tehehe.
