“I recently visited this spot and tried the Nova Lox Bagel. While the bagel itself was fresh and well-toasted, the salmon was a letdown. Nova lox is typically known for being less salty than regular smoked salmon, but in this case, it was overly salty and overwhelmed the other flavors. The toppings, like cream cheese, capers, and onions, were well-balanced, but the saltiness of the salmon really detracted from the overall experience.

I also decided to try the apricot cookie, but that turned out to be a mistake. I was surprised to learn it cost nearly $5—far more than I expected for a single cookie. Unfortunately, the taste was disappointing; it was so unpalatable that I couldn’t even finish it. The texture was dense and off-putting, and the apricot flavor was barely there. It felt like a waste of money, and I left feeling dissatisfied.

The prices were reasonable for the bagel, but the quality didn’t fully match my expectations. As for the cookie, it was overpriced and not worth trying again. Overall, a mixed experience—there’s potential, but the execution fell short.“

“We drove from Genoa City Wisconsin because we heard how delicious everything was. We were NOT disappointed. The meat on our sandwiches, one corned beef and one pastrami, was piled high! Homemade brined pickles and bakery items exceeded our expectations. Worth the drive and we will be back.“

“Bagel Miller is a go-to spot in Lincoln Square. The branding and atmosphere are fun and creative, the staff is welcoming, and the bagels, coffee, matcha, and chai are delicious. They have a gluten free bagel option too (although it is not homemade like their bagels made with gluten). The only downside is that it’s a bit pricey but still worth it for the taste.“

“I would easily consider bagels to be one of my favorite foods, and going to grab an iced latte and a fun bagel flavor is one of my favorite ways to spend a Sunday morning - so when I heard that the Gotham Bagels South Loop location was open, I knew I had to check it out! Gotham Bagels has been on my list for a LONG time, and it definitely did not disappoint! We tried a couple of their specialty sandwiches along with a classic sweet bagel to round it all out! My absolute FAVORITE from the meal was the Brighton Beach - the smoked salmon was perfect, the ratio of ingredients was incredible, and the flavor of the everything bagel tied everything together! I’d highly recommend checking out the South Loop Gotham Bagels location!“

We worked with their team to have a small cake made for our daughter's first birthday and it was not only delicious, but they were very intentional with the questions they asked for the baking process. “I have been a patient at a re hab center nearby for 3 weeks.Tempting me with different foods so I would eat better, she brought me a half of a turkey sandwich and supposedly a cup of vegetable soup.

I think the soup was a pint, it was fabulous, all veggies were cooked perfectly. When she pulled out the turkey sandwich without unwrapping it I thought by the Wieght I thought she got me a full one. I don't know how they make money. She was bringing them almost every day. I'm leaving here tomorrow and am really going to miss their food. I wish they really had one by where I live.“

I really love the breakfast bagels, the mother jones, hamlet, treehugger, and yosh kawano sandwiches, the do-rite doughnuts, and the chocolate chip cookies and the service is very warm, friendly, helpful, and accomodating. “Stopped by Brew Brew and enjoyed the food more than the coffee. The everything bagel with chipotle fig cream cheese was delicious and a unique combination that worked really well.

I also ordered the Aztec mocha. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t a standout for me. The drink had a very milk-forward flavor, a somewhat grainy texture, and not much espresso flavor coming through. Still drinkable, just not something I’d order again.

Overall, the bagel alone made the visit worthwhile, and I’d be interested in trying other menu items in the future.“
